No POV

Pretend.

Breathe.

Be strong.

Don't cry.

Don't be weak.

You're the oldest.

Grow up.

Don't be scared.

Don't fight back.

Just keep her safe.

That is all that matters....

"George...are you okay?"

I look up to find my little sister looking down at me. I'm leaning against the bed, my hands over my face trying to keep the tears away.

I quickly put a smile on my face. "I'm fine, Annie, are you?"

"Yeah, of course I'm fine. Are you sure something hasn't happened?"

"Like what? Everything is good. You better get ready for school," I tell her.

"Okay, I'll meet you downstairs then," Annie smiles as she leaves my room.

I wish everything was good. Yet I lie to my little sister every day. Because I'm too scared to tell her the truth. I'm too scared to tell anyone the truth. Only one person I've told, only one person I can trust but I don't know why I told him.

I don't even really know how I found him. I just hope I've put my faith in the right person to save me from all this.

Trigger....please come help me and my sister. I don't think I can do this much longer. It's breaking me....

Arrow's POV

I see George walking out the school gates, and I quickly follow him, but making sure he doesn't notice I'm following him.

I follow him for some time until he stops at a local park.

He finds the nearest swing set and sits on one looking lost in thought.

I take a quick stroll towards him but sit on a nearby bench.

He notices me quite quickly. He gets up off the swing set and comes over to the bench.

"Your Arrow Sharp," he says to me.

Of course...he knows who I am. I hadn't really thought he would recognise my face from the TV, I bet Trigger didn't either.

"What are you doing here? Did someone send you? Did Trigger send you?"

"George...I didn't want you to know I was here yet. I didn't want to make your foster family suspicious. It's hard to get evidence otherwise," I tell him quickly.

"So you are here to help me and my sister. I've been so scared for so long," he whispers to me.

"I know, and I wish I could just take you away right now, but you are going to have to be strong for a little bit longer," I tell him, taking his hand.

"I'm just so grateful you are here at all," George smiles at me.

"I know. I'm sorry you have had to suffer for so long. But don't worry, we are going to do all we can to make sure this doesn't continue."

"Thank you," he whispers.

"I told you there was some weirdo following him!" shouts a young boys voice.

"What you doing to my kid!" shouts a big, tall, bold headed man with a young man with him, but he looks to be around seventeen years old. A lot older than George is.

"Arrow... go now quickly," George says to me. He looks so scared...reminds me of me when I was his age with my uncle.

This really hadn't been the plan. Trigger is going to be pissed....

I don't want to leave him, but for the moment I think it will be for the best.

"Don't worry, I'll be back," I tell him as I walk the other way away from them all.

I reach the exit of the park, feeling awfully guilty.

"Where do you think you are going?" A tall woman stops right in front of me. She has long blonde hair, blue eyes, and skinny figure.

"Sorry, do I know you?" I ask.

"No. But you do now. What are you hanging around a park and talking to my son?"

"Oh... he approached me," I begin.

"Yeah, I saw that. Why did he approach you?"

"I'm not sure," I lie to her.

"I'm finding it hard to believe you're the one that stopped so many people, got them killed or arrested," she whispers into my ear.

"What?"

"You heard what I said. I'm Ruby, by the way, sweetheart. Now that I've got you in my sights... there really is no point in trying to hide who you are from me. I know! Before we continue, you have about a minute till my husband will be with us. Tik tok Arrow Sharp time is short. How much do you know? Will I have to teach you a very important lesson, you should have been taught a long time ago?"

Fuck....I really didn't see this coming. I thought it be the step dad...not the step mum!
