Chapter Forty Seven: Nothing to forgive.

Arrow's POV

"Leave him alone!" Trigger shouts.

"I don't think I will. But we have to get out of here before someone's comes to find you Trigger. As you said, you're not stupid. I know you," Kion smirks.

"I hate you!" Trigger blurts out. I catch his eye, and he looks terrified.

I've never seen Trigger this way....

"I hate you too. But I have a good reason, too."

"And I don't? Go fuck yourself!" He says as he struggles to get to his knees before he hooks his arm undermine.

"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry you have to go through this with me. I'm so sorry."

"Trigger...."I say, looking at him in shock. "We all have a past. I'm sure there is a reason why you didn't tell me. It's okay I understand. If you have to through this, I'm glad you don't have to deal with it alone. You have always been there for me," I say to him softly.

He shakes his head, "I told Colin I'll keep you safe....I haven't," he whispers.

"He will get over it. That is the least of our problems right now," I tell him.

"He is correct. That is the least of your worries!" Kion shouts as he tackles us both back to the ground.

I wince at the pain as I feel Trigger slip from my grasp.

Kion gets to his feet before he puts his foot against my back stopping me from being able to get up.

"Get off him! Trigger roars.

Kion pulls a small pistol out, pointing it directly at Trigger.

"Will you shut up. You're not his protector! Honestly, who do you think you are? Boys get Trigger to the truck first. Once he is stable, come back and help me with this one," he says, indicating at me.

"Right away, boss."

Trigger put up a good fight from sounds of it, I could barely see from being faced to the ground but I knew deep down and I think he knew too he wouldn't be able to win here.

Where would he go even if he managed to try? I know Trigger regardless of the history with Kion. He wouldn't leave me him with him. I'm sure of it.

"How long does it take!" Kion barks as his men returned.

"He is a dick. Nasty little shit."

"That he is. Are you ready to go for a ride?" Kion asks me as he takes his foot of me, and two of his six men pull me up and start to drag me back inside down the corridor.

"Don't have much of a choice," I mutter understand my breath.

"Don't be upset. We are going to have so much fun," Kion laughs as he walks just behind us.

"Fun my ass," I mutter back.

"Wait long enough, and you really will see what I'm saying," he smiles at me creepily now.

This is really bad....and I'm so hungry.

My stomach starts to rumble really loud, making me feel embarrassed.

"I bet you are starving. How long since you ate last now? Must be a while. Don't worry. I'll feed you once we reach our destination."

Trigger (In the past)

"You don't get it! You really don't get it!" I shout annoyed.

"Because you are not explaining it very well," Dig says calmly.

"Dig....please. He is brutal. He is pinning this all on me, but it was him! It wasn't me. I had to leave him, or he would have killed me," I tell him.

"Okay, Trigger, calm down. I believe you. But you need to tell me everything. I need to know it all so I can protect you."

"Dig....I like men. You know that....but he forced himself on me, and I was too scared to stop him. I let him hit me and abuse me look," I say as I show him some of my scars.

"I see. Well, you're in my care now Trigger and there is one thing that you won't be the time we are done here. No one will take advantage of you ever again. They will be scared of you. Its going to be okay, trust me. He won't ever dare come near you while I'm here."

NO POV

Kion never went near Trigger once Trigger was with Dig. He didn't dare.

But now Dig is dead. He had finally taken his chance, and it had taken him some time, but finally, he had Trigger back with him.

Arrow's POV

I can feel my brother. He can feel my worry and my pain. I have no doubt he is doing all he can right now to find us.

I just don't know how long that will be, and I am worried. Nothing fazes, Trigger. He goes in with a good head. But he is different he is the Trigger I know, but he isn't at the same time.

That scares me if I'm being honest.

I just have to do my best to try to keep us alive for now. Yet I really don't know how I am going to do that.

"Arrow," Trigger whispers.

"Yeah, are you okay?" I ask.

"Better than you," he whispers even lower.

"I'm okay. Don't need to worry," I begin but he cuts across me.

"Don't lie to me. I need you to be honest with me. I need you...to understand I already feel awful about this. So I just need us to be truthful to each other."

"They bandaged up my leg. They fed me. They gave me my medication and some fluids. I'm okay," I tell him again.

"What about that kick?"

"Okay....fine its tender but to be expected. Trigger, you are really freaking me out," I finally tell him the truth.

"Right....of course. I'm sorry. Dig made me the man I am. I wasn't always this tough guy. I was shit scared of Kion. We were together, but I didn't want to be. He forced himself on me, Arrow. He abused me. So yeah, I ran from him, and I ended up with Dig. He protected me, and he made me become tough. So I could protect myself. Yet seeing Kion after all this time. I'm still scared of him," he admits to me.

"I get it. Trigger if anyone would get that it's me. I felt that way about my uncle, and even as I got older, I was always scared of him. I don't think it would ever go away if that makes sense. So it's okay to be scared... and I'm sorry he put you through that. It's not right. If anyone should be pissed off or angry. It's you," I tell him.

"I know, and I'm sorry I was a coward and couldn't ever tell you about it. I hope you can forgive me."

"Nothing to forgive. Don't worry okay. I know it's tough, and he scares you, but i know you. Not even someone like him can stop you from succeeding or doing what you have to do. But if you feel you're not up to it. That's okay too," I tell him with a smile.

"Thank you, Arrow. That means everything to me."

"Best man at your wedding. Totally ruined your wedding night....what are friends for."

Trigger laughs. "Yeah."
