"Are you sure you're going to be okay?" Scott asked me as I put on my shoes. "Scott, i'll be fine, I'm not four."

He sighed, scratching the back of his neck as I chuckled. "I know, it's just with everything going on lately, I'm worried that something might happen to you." I put a hand on his shoulder. "Scott, I can take care of myself."

He nodded. "Fine, but please be careful." I nodded, grabbing the door knob and opening the door. "I always try my best."

Today I had decided to take a day out of school. After all the running around yesterday and all the things that happened, my brain was all over the place. I needed to clear my mind. I closed the door behind me as I walked to my car. Starting up the engine, I pulled out of the driveway, backing out onto the road.

I drove away from my house, watching it grow distant through the window. My mind couldn't help but wander as the thoughts from the previous night circled throughout my head.

"You found a list? What kind?" Stiles questioned Lydia as we all circled around her. A series of names were printed in bold capital letters on a white sheet of paper.

"I think it's some kind of deadpool. Look." She pointed to a name that was crossed off. Many others matching it. "A deadpool for what?" I asked as Scott's eyes widened.

"For the supernatural." He pointed to another crossed off name. Looking closer, I saw the name. Sean Walcott. The wendigo Scott and I had witnessed being killed by the man without a mouth when he bit Liam.
"Lydia, keep searching for more lists, this can't be it." She nodded, going back to her computer.

"Do you think we'll be on them?" I asked Scott as he sighed. "If it based on Beacon Hills, then yes."

It did scare me a little bit. Knowing someone had a bounty of some sort set on the supernatural. It could be any of us. Scott, Malia, Lydia, Derek, Peter, Me, heck maybe even Liam. I continued to drive down the road, pushing my thoughts behind me until I finally reached my destination. Beacon Hills Preserve.

When Scott and I were younger, we used to ride our bikes down here every day when we didn't have school, even when our mom told us not too. Reminds me of the gold old days when everything was normal. When life was simple.

I shut off my car, shoving the keys in my pocket as I got out the car. The scent of fresh pine filled my nose as I walked deeper into the woods.

Venturing further towards the lookout point, I couldn't help but remember all the things we've done in these woods.

Peter biting Scott when we all left the house. Kidnapping Jackson so he didn't go all snake on everyone. Saving Malia from being a coyote her whole life. Even when Stiles and I tried to have a date. So many things have happened here. Both good and kind of illegal.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sight of a head. I quickly slipped behind a tree, peering over the side to get a better look. There was a girl, about my age with dark brown hair sitting on the rock that overlooked the city. I smiled, she reminded me of myself when I used to sit out there, contemplating my thoughts.

"Pretty peaceful isn't it?" I asked, walking over to the girl. She whipped around, staring at me. She didn't look familiar, and Beacon Hills was a small town.

She watched me as I sat down on the rock beside. She turned back to the view, staring into the distance. "Yeah, it is."

"I'm Aubrey." I smiled as she glanced out of the corner of her eye. I flashed her a smile which she quickly returned. "Kayla."

"This may seem weird considering that we just met, but do you go to the high school? I don't think i've seen you before?" She nodded, chuckling. "Yeah, i'm a freshman. I just moved to Beacon Hills from up in Maine."
