As we approached my front door, a pit formed in my stomach. I had no idea why I was so nervous to see Scott, but my anxiety was through the roof.

Being back home without Stiles felt like I wasn't really home at all. It felt like I was missing something crucial.

I took a deep breath before placing my hand against the door, knocking on it. I heard Scott's footsteps getting closer, causing my heart to pound inside my chest. For some reason, I couldn't shake away this feeling, it was making me feel sick.

The door opened to reveal Scott. His eyes widened as his mouth dropped.

"Aubrey?" He questioned, causing me to smile and nod my head.

"It's me, Scott." Scott flashes me a smile before pulling me into a hug, squeezing my body.

A wave of relief washed over me as Scott and I pulled away from our hug. Scott smiled down at me, shaking his head.

"Where have you been?" He asked, causing me to furrow my eyebrows.

"What do you mean?" I asked as Scott started to chuckle.

"You don't have to lie to me Aubrey, if you went somewhere, just say it."

I shook my head, glancing up at him. "Scott, I'm not lying. I didn't go anywhere, I was taken by the Ghost Riders."

Scott shook his head. "Aubrey, don't you think I'd know if you were taken?"

I crossed my arms, rolling my eyes at him. "Clearly not. That's the point of the Ghost Riders. You're not supposed to remember." I said, causing my eyes to widen. "Wait, do you remember Stiles?"

"You know Stiles?" Scott asked, causing me to nod my head. "Of course I know Stiles."

Scott took a deep breath, leaning against the door frame. "Were you really taken?" He asked.

I nodded, biting my lip. "Yes Scott, I was." He nodded, shaking his head.

He walked into the house, plopping down on the couch, his head in his hands.

"Scott, what's wrong?" I asked, shutting the door behind me as I entered my house, sitting down next to him.

"I couldn't save you." He muttered, causing me to sigh.

"Scott, there was nothing you could do."

"I could've at least remembered you. How could I forget my own sister?" He mumbled angrily to himself.

"The Ghost Riders made you forget me, Scott. You couldn't have stopped them."

He sighed, resting his head against the back of the couch. "I could've at least tried."

I put my hand on his shoulder. causing him to turn his head towards me. "The only thing we can do now is try and get Stiles back, okay?" I asked him.

He jumped to his feet, nodding his head. "Yeah, you're right." He paced over to the door, opening it. "Ready?" He asked.

I nodded, a smile plastered on my face. "Let's do this."

We were going to get Stiles back and nothing will stand in my way.

"Are you really making me go to school?" I grunted as Scott dragged me into the car. "I literally just got back and I'm already being dragged back to hell. Awesome."

Scott rolled his eyes as he got into the driver's side of the car. "It's not that bad Aubrey."

I sighed, leaning back in my seat, glancing out the window. "Whatever."
