Song: I See the Light - Tangled

The elevator was slow. I was drained. I didn't know how I was going to face him, if he was even here. He might very well have left. The way we parted sent me to tears. I could only hope that Oh Sehun had felt at least one percent of what I was feeling. I was angry at him, angry at myself, scared about my situation, weak, lost, completely alone and abandoned by the man I was now forced to find.

I can't.

I can't!

I can't see him. Not this soon.

The floor number changed from 3 to 2.

Oh Sehun is my only hope.

I wiped my eyes with my hands and leaned back, beat as a trampled rose, unable to think or focus.

Please.

The floor number changed from 2 to 1.

I closed my eyes. The doors to the elevators opened.

Please be here.

I opened my eyes and walked out.

The lobby was empty.

It took me a second to register the usualness of the tiny lobby, as shabby and desolate as ever, with a lack of Oh Sehun. My light dwindled.

And then I saw him.

Leaning against the wall in the courtyard was Oh Sehun, oblivious of anything else. His head was bowed, both of his hands in his coat pockets, a blatant gloom under moonlight that was too innocent. I watched his figure grow larger and larger until I was standing three feet before him, stripped of everything but joy and an apocalyptic wholesomeness.

He's here.

I stared into his eyes which were now sucking my entirety into his own. Disbelief, ecstasy, hunger.

The desire that demolished my self-control flashed dangerously in his dark eyes as soon as the wild ecstasy faded from them. He stared at me like I was imaginary. A wish-come-true that was now in his hands, a possession he was now permitted to own. The way his every emotion etched straight onto my heart was breaking my system. I could say nothing. I could do nothing. He had taken whatever was left of me.

"What's wrong?"

His voice was deep and alert, the craziness in his eyes replaced by concern. I strained my neck back to keep my eyes on his, feeling just then how warm his hands were. He had held my hands in his and pulled me close, himself leaving the wall to eliminate the distance between us. I recognized a wave of relief washing through me as I let everything go.

He knows. Oh, how does he know? Why is he so good?

I didn't even need to say a word. I knew he was going to take care of it all now. Oh Sehun held me like he was afraid I would break, yet he was determined to stop me from breaking by having me in his hands. I needed nothing else. He was going to take care of me.

"What's wrong, Innie?" He asked again gently, getting his coat off his back and wrapping it around me as he did, his eyes never leaving mine.

I could see my own reflection in his eyes. It looked bizarre; I was hypnotized and perfect like a pretty doll made just for him. Was this how he was seeing me? Oh Sehun squeezed my hands softly and brought me closer to him.

"My god."

His voice was scratched. I whimpered as his hand touched my face.

"You are so beautiful."

The pain in his voice startled me. He caressed my face so uncertainly I felt imaginary.

"Say something. You're unreal."

I watched the wildness spread across the blacks of his eyes as he touched my lips with his thumb.

"Who am I, Innie?"

I kissed his thumb. He closed his eyes with a groan.

"You are Oh Sehun."

"No."

He shook his head and opened his eyes to gaze into mine. "I am your Sehun."

I warmed like butter thrown on a sizzling pan. I am your Innie.

"You are my Innie." He said as if he read my mind. "But tell me what's wrong, baby girl."

He brushed a strand of my hair behind my ear and let his hand travel down my back to rest on my waist.

"You tied me to a train track the way you looked at me." He shivered. "Cuffed to you and tied to a train track, Choi Inhye."

He spoke quietly. "What is it? Why were you so scared?"

"I thought y-you left."

He stared at me.

"I-I don't know what to do, Sehun. I'm . . . I'm . . . I'm locked out."

He didn't even blink. The air almost turned sweet from the way Oh Sehun's mood was oozing honey. He cocked his head and looked at me intently, elatedly, and then he let go of me and took a step back, smiling.

"I'm sorry to hear that."

He bit his lip. The insincerity in his voice could break a polygraph. I could practically hear the fireworks of celebration in his head. Tingles ran down my spine as Oh Sehun licked his lips and looked me up and down. The predatory need in his eyes had me at his feet.

"What do you want to do, Innie?"

Oh Sehun looked at me dreamily.

"You wanna come to my place?"
