And Then I Found You

Not Just Yet

Johnny sighed in complete bliss with Helena's small form resting on top of him, he could feel her soft heart beats against his own and the gentle breathing from her chest. He could only smile sweetly to himself as he felt her softly kiss his chest after they had just spent the rest of their evening in this very room making love through the night. Love that Johnny was sure he felt from her, even if it was to soon for her to actually admit.

Softly running his hands up and down the slope of her back feeling her warm silk like skin under his fingertips Johnny kissed her shoulder. "You're so beautiful" he whispered kissing her cheek and watching as she grinned at him through the darkness of the room. She really was stunning, everything about her even if she really needed to put on a couple more pounds, she still was rather thin but beautiful even so. "You're not to bad yourself" she smiled pushing herself up a little to kiss his lips tenderly. 

Breaking away she looked into his warm eyes and felt herself melt into his chest yet again. "So much for not taking me to bed" Helena smirked. Shaking his head at her with a small smile Johnny shrugged slightly "you lunged"

Opening her mouth in protest Helena hit his chest playfully "I did not! you pulled me in with those damn eyes of yours" she defended watching him only laugh at what she had to say "How could I resist you....especially in that dress" he added with a dangerous glint in his eye "Mmm thought that might have been the reason" she purred into his ear before kissing his cheek and rolling off him.

Watching through confused eyes as she wrapped the bed sheet around her naked self, she walked over and began slipping back into her navy dress. "What are you doing?" he asked missing the warmth of her body now that she had left his side. "As much as I want to stay I need to get home, I've got to be up to take the kids into school" now that she was fully dressed Helena tried to sort out her rather tangled hair that Johnny was to blame for knotting.

"But, It's half 12" he said still watching her as she put on her heels. He was enjoying just holding her and cuddling her in bed, it felt so empty now and so cold without her, he wanted them to drift off to sleep in each others arms.

Looking up at him as she finished placing on her shoes Helena smiled sweetly at him as she walked over to his side of the bed and sat down. "I'm sorry Johnny but I can't have Billy and Nell waking up to find me missing....you understand right?" she whispered playing with the ends of his hair at the back of his neck. Looking at her he simply gave a small nod "Unfortunately I do" he said gruffly to which she leaned in and kissed him again.

Breaking away from her gently Johnny reached for his trousers and began to get dressed also "I'll take you home" this only made Helena frown and shake her head "You don't have to Johnny" placing on his shirt now that his trousers were done up Johnny pulled her up from the bed with his hand "I'm not letting you find your own way home at this time of night" he reasoned making her chuckle at him "I'm a grown woman I don't need you to hold my hand" she smirked just as he looked at her with that playful sparkle in his eye "Maybe I want to hold your hand" he cooed before pulling her into him and kissing her again. Smiling against his lips Helena kissed him back.

"Come on" he said breaking away and heading out of the door with her.

Giggling as soon as they got out of the car that Johnny parked up in her large drive anyone would have thought they were drunk. They couldn't stop touching each other playfully hugging and stealing kisses as they made it up the drive. Suddenly Johnny swooped her up in his arms, basically carrying her to her door way in fits of laughter. "Let go of me bloody fool" Helena laughed as soon as her feet touched the ground to her porch, whereby Johnny practically pushed her up against the wall and crashed his lips against her own making her squeal.

Breaking the kiss by pushing him away Helena smirked as he kept his hands pressed firmly either side of the wall as if trapping her in place. "I don't want you to go inside" he stated kissing her again which made her push him away yet again with a huge amused grin plastered across her glowing face. "The effects that this dress has on men is a serious weapon" she giggled before Johnny looked down at her perfect body and slid his hands around her waist "You have no idea" he teased kissing her neck with tender but hungry kisses. "But it's not the dress I'm interested in...it's you Hel" he added pressing a sweet kiss to her lips.

Pushing him away yet again she tried to get herself to the door "I need to go"

Pulling her back Johnny kissed her again, he didn't want this to end, he just wanted to be with her always to kiss her and hold her like he was now "Johnny stop" Helena couldn't help but giggle as she broke which seemed like the hundredth kiss of theirs tonight, maybe even more.

Holding her close in his arms he smiled at her lovingly "I had a great night to night Hellie" he said almost in a whisper as he looked into her happy and gleaming face "Well I should hope so you got more then you thought this evening" she smirked running her arms around his neck. 

"I had a good night too" she added a little more serious this time as she looked into his eyes, those eyes that longed for her and even she could see that. She had to admit she had fallen, fallen so hard that in scared her. This was all so quick, so sudden without the chance to really process what on earth was going on. As much as she wanted to be able to say that she was beginning to love him she was frightened to give him that power.

Helena knew that he wouldn't dream of hurting her, not like Dominic had done. But after everything that has happened since signing the divorce papers she knew that she was really and truly falling in love with her best friend. She would tell him, but not yet, it was too soon to give him that power of holding her heart; properly that was. Even though he already was holding it, it was far too soon to give him those still painful words of 'I love you' just yet.

"Can I see you tomorrow?" Johnny asked still holding her in his warm arms on this late and chilly night. "Of course, come by tomorrow afternoon when the kids are back from school, I'm sure they would love you see you too" she said tangling her fingers through his hair at the back of his head.

"Ah, so you would LOVE to see me would you" he teased playfully with a knowing look as he ran his hands slowly up and down her back. Pouting her lips with a small smirk as she realises what he was getting at she poked her index finger into his chest "Don't push your luck" she finished making him chuckle to himself as she untangled her way free from his arms to unlock the front door with her key. 

As soon as it opened Helena smiled girlishly as she walked back over to Johnny and kissed him for one last time before going in "I'll see you tomorrow" with this Johnny smiled at her and gave a small nod "Night" she whispered.  

"Night....."
