"You can't tell my dad. He doesn't know about me and Eddie." Iris demands, almost scared and practically pleading.
"It doesn't seem like anyone's in on the secret." Barry snaps. He looked hurt, and he sounded frustrated. I admit, I was a little bit upset to wake up from a coma to find out my friend started immediately lying to me. But Barry seemed angrier.
"I was gonna tell you." We cross the street as she talks. "When you guys were in the hosptial, Eddie covered my father's shifts so we could be with you two." She defends. Not gonna lie, that's pretty sweet of him, but that isn't the point. She didn't tell us. But she continues, "I thanked him with a cup of coffee and things just happened. And it's good!" She smiles, happily.
Barry was oddly quiet and just staring at her with a look I couldn't quite read. Jealousy? I wasn't quite sure, so I add, "Dating your partner's daughter? Isn't that against department regulations?" I ask.
Iris stops walking and Barry just stops beside me. "Why are you so upset?" Iris fires.
"I just don't like lying to your dad!" Barry spoke after a while.
I added in, "Also, we just woke up. Only to find out our friend has been lying right to our faces the second we woke up! Friendships are built on trust, trust Iris." She nodded at my words. She had a guilty look in her eyes. It must be because of me scolding her for lying about her and Eddie, but....what if it was something else?
Out of no where, sirens and cops cars are coming our way. Then the world gets slower again. I take advantage of it and push Iris and Barry out the away. But Barry was doing the exact same. As we fall to the ground, I look to where we were standing seconds ago. That's exactly where a cop car flew. Because of getting hit by someone speeding. As I quickly got up, Barry had already taken off.
"Dammit." I mumbled and help Iris up as she yells for Barry. "Are you okay?" I question, checking her for bruises or twisted ankles or arms. She nods in response and calls her dad.

"That poor man." Iris says, looking at the ambulance carry away a dead body-an innocent victim-from the crash. Cops were everywhere, investigating amd searching for clues. "The way that fog came in...I have never seen anything like it."
"Iris! Barry! Destiny!" Joe yells, catching all of our attention. He places his hand on Iris' shoulder.
"We're all right dad." Iris assures.
"What were you thinking having her put here?!" Joe snaps and points at me and Barry.
Excuse me?
I'm sure I looked confused as hell. Iris tries to protest back but he goes on, "I told you! When you see danger, run the other way! Your not a cop."
"You wouldn't let me!" She shrugs him off.
"Damn right!"
"We need yo talk, you too Destiny." Barry cuts in.
"It can wait." Joe keeps his eyes on Iris.
"No, now." Barry demands impatiently. So I scoot over next to him. Barry looks shook up as he explains. "I saw who did this."
"Who?" Me and Joe ask in unison.
"It's Clyde Mardon." Joe drops his hands in annoyance and I raise a brow in confusion. "I know everybody thinks he died in a plane after the crash, in the S.T.A.R Labs explosion, but he's still alive."
"Seriously? You saw him?" I repeat.
"Something happened to him that night. I--" Barry stutters. "I think he can control the weather."
