Eddie and I clinked our filled wine glasses, "Cheers!" I exclaimed. "To the small moments like right now." I smiled at him. I always have some of my best memories with Eddie. And they're always so simple, which makes me simply happy.

"Cheers!" He grinned back. We both sip on our wine as we continue watching Schitts Creek together.

"Wait," Eddie says. "Weren't you supposed to go to the station today?"

"Wasn't Iris supposed to be here by now?" I fire back. He tilts his head.

"True.." His voice trailed off as he looked around the room in confusion, as if just remembering Iris was in fact supposed to be here hours ago. He begins to get up to call her I assume. As if timed, my phone goes off just as he gets up—a call from Caitlin.

"Buenos noches." I answer.

"Destiny! Hurry, Ronnie just got here and Barry isn't answering his phone!" I frown at the panic in her voice and jump up off the couch. I hurriedly grab my things to leave.

"Where are you going?" Eddie shouts after me as I rush out the door.

"It's a work thing!" I shout back. Still on the phone with Caitlin I say, "I'm on my way."

On the other side of the phone I hear Dr. Wells mumble "We need Barry." And from the demand in his force, it was an order. And he's right, we do. Barry told me to call him no matter what.

Hesitantly, Caitlin says, "He's at his house." Knowing damn well I'm about to walk in on a date of his—god life just loves to screw me over in every way. Not only is he on a date, but he's on a date with a girl in my—our house.

I speed over from Eddie's house to my house, bursting through the front door. "Barry!" I shout immediately when it swings open. "Have you not been checking your phone? We need y-"

I didn't even have to look for them. They were right there in the living room. Barry jumped off of the slim light skinned half naked beautiful girl and snatched his clothes off the floor to throw them on.

Wow, she is beautiful. That's not fair. I know I screwed up but none of this was fair.

On my way here I didn't even try to think for a second whether or not his date might be prettier than me, or smarter than me, or just better than me. I was too busy just feeling sorry for myself.

She had long dark hair that matched her just as dark eyes, that complimented her black bra.

I wanted nothing more than to run back into Eddie's safe arms again. I just walked in on him lip locking with another girl. I feel played, I feel hurt.

I get I kissed Peter and that hurt him but I never did it to purposely hurt Barry. I'd never want to hurt Barry. But Barry—he did this to hurt me. And it worked like a charm.

Barry wanted to hurt me..? No, this wasn't a question. This was a fact. Barry Allen wanted me to hurt just like I had hurt him.

I suddenly felt insecure as I compared every little thing about me to this random girl. My hair, my lips, my body, my eyes.

Realizing nearly ten seconds had past and I'm staring at this poor embarrassed confused girl who was covering her chest, I cover my eyes and turn. I forced an awkward laugh out. "Oh I'm sorry, didn't realize I was inter-rupting something." My voice cracking at the end. Fuck, get out of there!

My hands felt damp now from wiping my watering eyes . I sniffled and turned to the front door, "I'm so sorry.." I quietly repeat.

"Destiny!" I hear Barry shout out after me when walk out the door and speed away.
