please read authors note below
happy Valentine's day my lovelies!
I hope you're not as single and as sad as me as I stuff my face with imaginary candy my imaginary boyfriend gave me!
I thought this would be really cute to write and I was even gonna do it last year but I had like no readers last year and no votes or anything, so I thought there was no point.
It's crazy though how much has changed over a year! But anyway, enjoy my little two beans being cute
IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE
THIS DOES NOT, I REPEAT, DOES NOT FOLLOW MY PLOT OR TIMELINE AT ALL WITH THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN IMAGINE, NOT AN ACTUAL CHAPTER OF STRUCK TWICE.

THIRD PERSON POV
"This is isn't fair." Destiny moaned and whined.
"I know, I know. I'm so sorry, baby. Trust me when I say there's nothing more that I want then to be at home with you right now," Barry respondes back through the phone, meaning every word of it.
Barry had planned a romantic dinner at the best restaurant in the city, the most expensive one too! He even planned the reservations six months ahead because it's that good.
Destiny even wore a beautiful red lacey dress, and a full face of make up--something very rare. She was happy with her look, she wanted to look good for him, after all--it is Valentine's Day. She wanted to have her boyfriend smile as they walked through the restaurant, and he'd be smiling because he had a beautiful girl on his arm.
But that all went to waste when Barry was called in for an emergency at the CCPD. And it wasn't like he could rush through it and he'd be done. It wasn't just some files to look through. Barry knew for a fact he'd be there all night and it was only 7P.M.
He felt extremely bad, knowing damn well Destiny was at home, looking amazing just for him and ready to be taken out. It pained him, emotionally and physically.
He was also dying to know what she was wearing, how she looked, if he was even right about her looking good just for him. He just wanted her in the end, to be with her, and at home with her. He loved her.
Barry groaned through the phone, "Destiny," he whimpered, "I'm so so so sorry, you don't even understand-"
"It's fine Bare." She sighed. It's not like she could be mad at him, this wasn't his fault. She completely understand, as much as she hated it, she understood. What good would it do to make him feel bad? "I get it, it's not your fault."
He sighed in relief, thankful she didn't go bat shit crazy over this. "But like honestly though, this really isn't fair. Tonight was just supposed to be us..." his voice trailed off.
"I know, ugh, fuck my life." Destiny stomped her foot and she threw her purse at the ground angrily, coins spilling out--but she didn't care. She kicked off her heels and slid off her red leather jacket she bought for today.
