Please keep in mind this time season 1 took place in was in year 2015.
DESTINY'S POV
"Oh my god! I loved that movie!" I exclaimed happily as we walked out of the building. "It was hilarious."
"Yeah," Barry smiled, "It was pretty funny. I really liked it too."
"I'm so glad you picked Pitch Perfect 2. I never really imagined you as the type of guy to watch a movie like that." I say, in complete honesty as we walk around, enjoying the dark night.
"Well, I wanted to pick something I know you'd like. I've noticed you love comedies. So I though this movie was perfect. Some might even say pit-"
"Please don't finish that sentence." I playfully glared at him. He laughed lightly, stopping. I stopped too, standing right in front of him.
I pulled my leather jacket closer onto my body to shield me from the cold. Expecting him to say something, he doesn't. Instead he stands in front of me, smiling. "What?" I can't help but ask.
"What?" He asks back.
"Why are you smiling like that?"
"Because," he shrugs, "I'm happy."
In order to prevent blushing, I change the topic. "So what's next on your list of surprises?"
"Well, since popcorn and candy can't fill us up for the night, I thought dinner afterwards would be great." Barry responds.
"Ooo," I coo, "that sounds like a great idea."
"I know right. Took me hours to come up with it." He says sarcastically, although he made a face like it was a real struggle. My heart fluttered at the thought of him struggling with what to do on our first date to make me happy. It must've sucked, but it makes him the man he is. So I love him for it.
"Where we eating?
"You'll see. For now, let's do the thing before that on my list." He steps closer to me.
"And what's that thing?" I ask.
"Stop asking questions." He demands before slipping his hand through mine, while the other held my waist and pulled me close. Pulling me close enough to connect lips with him. It was a slow kiss, a happy one.
He hummed into the kiss, pulling back after a couple of seconds and laying his head on my shoulder.
"That wasn't planned on your list, was it?" I ask.
"Stop asking questions."
>>>>>>>
"How did you know I love this place?" I asked as we sat down. Our waiter quickly snatched up the small 'reserved' sign on our table. I noticed his name tag read Patrick.
Barry shrugged, "Living with you for a while now, I've noticed what you order most. Pasta. So I thought this place would be great." He said as he looked at the pictures hung on the walls of my used to be favorite resturant when I was in elementary school. The Olive Garden.
5-10 MINUTES LATER
Our appetizers have been served and our food was ordered. I ordered the same thing from here everytime I came here. Fettuccine alfredo, my favorite. My mouth watered at the thought. I haven't had it in at least 5 years.
Barry stated he didn't come here much so he ordered the same as me.
Our waiter came quickly with our wine, a wine Barry and I decided on. We were cautious about it considering we've never had the wine we ordered. It was called Red Moon.
