"Hey whose at the door?" I hear Barry ask from behind.
"What are you doing here?!" I ask in panic in a whisper/shout. I push Jesus slightly back to shut the door behind me, that way Barry can't see or hear our conversation. I ignore the breeze flying up my loose flannel by hugging my body.
He takes a deep breathe before repeating his earlier statement. "I said we need to talk. What happened the other day--it..it was-"
"Okay okay," I shook my head in my hands, "I know..I-I was just trying to avoid this." It'll be okay, right? I just need to explain to him it was all an accident. Even though I still don't even fully understand what happened yet.
"You lost control.." His words began taunting me. I'm not listening to jack shit that monster says. He's a liar and a killer. No matter how right he is.
"Well?" Jesus asks impatiently, wanting an answer and explanation.
"Alright, but not here. Just give me a sec." I mumble before going back into the house to grab my keys, jacket and phone from my room real quick.
"Hey who was that?" Barry stops me before I could leave my room. Lie, someone tells me.
"Oh it's just Eddie, he's still mad." I give a fake little chuckle. "I'm gonna try to calm him down or something." However, Barry stays in the frame of my door. Which was stopping me from leaving. I don't think he was buying my excuse. He seemed to have an unsure expression on his face. "Plus," I add, trying to save myself, "I've gotta get my things from his place, right?"
Barry suddenly seemed at ease with my words, my words meaning of course that I'd come back home. He gushed as he stepped out of my way, not saying another word as I left.
"Talk to you later though Bare!" I shout to him before turning to Jesus. "Let's take a little walk."

"God finally, I've been trying to reach you for days." Jesus groans at me. I sigh under my breath, and I succeeded for a few days.
"I'm sorry Jesus, but honestly I'm also trying to understand what happened the other night."
Jesus stopped walking and stared at my in disbelief. "You don't even know?!"
"Shush!" I snap at him. I look around the nearly empty park in the middle of Central City, no was near—thank god. "You have to keep it down."
"But Destiny—" he began stuttering, "That's not okay. You lost control of your own power?"
"Don't say that," I growl at him, looking him dead in the eyes. He seemed a bit frightened or surprised by my change in character. "I did not lose control. I am perfectly capable of controlling myself. Why does everyone keep saying.." I mutter to myself.
Jesus goes wide-eyed. "Everyone?! Whose everyone? Who else did you tell? Does Barry know? Do your creepy little dork friends at S.T.A.R. Labs know?"
"No dude, no one knows." I stare him down. "And no one will. Just you, me and Molly. No one can know I-" I paused.
"Lost control." Jesus added, titling his head at me in annoyance.
"Shut up."
I look around the park again and notice more people were starting to come in. A few morning runners, a few kids running around the park freely, and a few couples on the grass having an adorable picnic. It must be nice, really. To look that happy together and to just be together. I'm jealous of that.
Jesus turns to what I'm looking at and frowns.
"Destiny," he says, but instead of his panicked voice—he seemed sad. "I'm sorry. What I did was so wrong and I am so so sorry I screwed up the amazing thing you and Barry had."
