Ch 8: A Soar Morning

Third person POV 

It's been a 2 weeks now since Hiccup and Astrid have been together. And to be honest with you there relationship is getting stronger and stronger by the day. Hiccup got to catch up with old friends like Tuff and Fish and even Berk Highs all star Quarterback Snotlout who also is Hiccups cousin. But Snotlout is like a protective big brother of Hiccup who even though messes with him time to time always has his back.

But Hiccup has out grew that and protects himself now he recently found a boxing gym where he can train and stay in shape. He no longer plans to fight anymore but still likes boxing for fitness and fun. Hiccup is more into acting and plans on becoming a movie star now. But as for Astrid she is a track star who's speed even rivals the male runners and well she is faster then them. She's been at it for since the start of her high school career and plans on doing it professionally.

In many ways these two are polar opposites Hiccup the kind,gentle and calm and handsome guy seems to be a guy who would be more interested in more gentle sweet girls nope he's in love with a strong, dominant, pretty and hard headed girl name Astrid. But that's Hiccup he's loved her since the day he layed eyes on her when he was a kid. And really everyone in Berk is Fanboying or Fangirling about this new couple who even though are completely different they just seem to fit with one another perfectly. Atleast to most of the people in Berk except for one couple Jack and Elsa.

These two are relatively nice on first meeting them but can be really angry of there popularity is being touched by anyone. They are also a perfect mixture of rebellious nature of Jack and the calm and even almost royal behavior Elsa carries. They attempted to thwart the uprising of Astrid and Hiccups popularity as a couple but failed. Due to Jack not being able to bring down Hiccup after saying those words Elsa was more prettier then Hiccups Astrid. Hiccups words were so truthful and beautiful that it automatically won him even more fans even though he didn't know he did. And if he did know he doesn't really care Hiccup just wants to be with Astrid that's it. After Jack's failure Elsa was furious with Jack and they planned on making sure they were the only popular couple in school. They planned this in thr garden where Elsa and Jack usually hang at lunch away from people. Jack started "uhhh these two are killing our reputation there slowly taking our top spot Elsa!!!" Jack yelled into the air holding his hair. "I know its been 2 weeks of them slowly rising to our top spot but we need to do something to prove we are the couple everyone loves" Elsa says to Jack in a cold tone. "We can break them up or something" Jack proposed. "Hmm but that seems to harsh even for me and it would break Anna's heart of we did that." Elsa tells Jack "wait even your sister is a Hiccstrid shipper???" Jack ask. Elsa just nodded yes to him sadly. "Uhhh that complicates things Elsa what are we going to do? " Jack asks. "Well if we cant win as a couple maybe we can win as individuals." Elsa proposes to Jack who looked at her confused "what do you mean?" Jack asks "I mean if we can prove how beautiful and good looking we are we can get our popularity back and once they all notice how hot we are individually they'll notice how hot a couple we are, gaining our old status back completely." Elsa fully explains to Jack. "Ohhh I get it make sense my queen" Jack says as he walks to her. Elsa put a hand on Jack's cheek before saying "of course it does" she says before kissing Jack softly on the lips.

Time skip: next day

Hiccups POV

I woke up feeling a bit soar and but well rested today the gym I found a week ago and kinda initiated me into the gym by putting me in a 12 round sparring marathon. But I held my own beat the guys put in front of me. The only thing now is that I have to face Astrid about it I never told her I was into boxing and that I found a gym where I could train at. As I exited my bed I pet toothless who was sleeping on the end of my bed peacefully. Heh the guy must be really tuckered out from working at the hospital with mom. They found a great way to keep him busy there so basically my mom brings him in whenever a kid or person is feeling down at the hospital. So my mom brings him in to ease that person's pain with the cuteness of toothless. My mom said it really helps having him there and people are more happier knowing that the staff care so much for

(Time skip Astrids house)

Once I finally got to Astrids House I felt the pain from my body still soar as hell even taking the pain killers my body hurts like hell. I waited outside for Astrid but when she did come outside she looked so amazing. She wore a faded tight blue jeans and a blue crop top exposing her belly just a bit she wore as well a hooded vest that was open and unzipped. She has to be and Angel because I felt that way everytime I see her. It's been 2 weeks since me and Astrid have been dating ever since the first day school. "Hey babe your looking great I see today." I call out to her as I gawk at her figure and oh yeah we call each other that now. She looked back at me and smiled at me "Hey babe your looking handsome as always." She says walking over to me and when she did she hugged me normally but I was so soar. "Ahhhh" I grunt out in pain from Astrids hug. She seemed to noticed it and released her hug. "Hiccup are ok???" She asks me. "Yea yea I'm fine." I tell her trying play it off as I scratch the back of neck. "Hmmm are you sure?" she asks me poking me in the same spot where she thought I was soar. Ouch shes poking the spot that hurts the most, I winced in pain when she did and I tried to hide it under my breath but Astrid is to perceptive to not notice it. "Hiccup why are you soar??" She asks me plainly as she crossed her arms. "What Soar me no I'm not soar just slept wrong thats all." I say trying to lie to her. "Hiccup come on I know when your lying we've been friends for like forever." Astrid says as she catches onto my lie. "Huhhh ok you got me Im soar because I've been going to this Boxing gym lately for about 2 weeks and I've been sparring while i was there; now my body hurts alot." I tell her and her eyes widens as I said that. "Hiccup you know boxing isnt really a safe sport or type of workout to do you know" she lectures me. "I know I know but I just like it even though my body hurts like right now." I tell her she just sighs and says "do you have any marks on your body?" Astrid asks me. "Yea ......" I say showing her the bruise on my ribs and on my sides. "Oh God's Hiccup you need to rest you can't go to school like this." She says concerned for my health. "No no I'm alright I'll just ice it later at my house" I say stubbornly "hmmmm fine but your coming to my house after this you need proper treatment for all those bruises young man" Astid says to me. "Ok mom" I say sarcastically at her. That was the wrong move because she punched me right in the arm hard leaving my arm numb. "Ahhh ouch that hurt" I yell out in pain. "I know that was the point don't call me that again" Astrid tells me coldly. "Ok ok I'm sorry but come on Astrid I'm already soar I don't need to be more soar jeez." I say to her. "Hah that's what you get Hiccup." Astrid says leading the way to our school. I followed her and initiated my 'make Astrid sad cute face' I looked at her and said "that really hurt Astrid" I say with the cute face on. Astrid looked at me and saw how I was pouting and almost melted into my cute face. Hahaha it's working "it really hurt." I say faking a tear and sniffle. She then looked sad and regretted she punched and said to me "Oh my gods Hiccup im sorry I didn't know it would hurt that much." She says as she grabs my hands and intertwine her fingers in. "How can I make it up to you???" She desperately asks me. I internally smirk to myself before saying "a..... a.... a... kiss" I tell her still acting sad and hurt. She smiled kindly and wrapped her arms around my neck and stopped me in our tracks. "Done here you go Hiccup" she says as she puckered her lips for our kiss. I leaned down an kissed her gently before wrapping my arms around her waist to pull her in more. What I didn't notice was that we were at school already and people were watching but I don't care this is my girl. I held her for what felt like an hour of heaven before we let go. "Better Hiccy" Astrid asks me. "Yuppppp" I say popping the p before smiling at her. She smiled back and grabbed my arm as we entered the main hall. We were greeted by a surprising crowd of Hiccstrid shippers and Ruff who was there shipping leader.

"Hey guys!!!" Ruff says to us energetic as ever. "Hey Ruff what's up???" Me and Astrid both ask lol that was weird but who cares. "Oh nothing much just greeting Berk Highs favorite couple" Ruff says casually. I laughed while Astrid just said "again it's still annoying that you guys love is that much like this" Astrid says annoyed. "To bad Astrid get used to it we love it" she says turning to her shipping army. But then suddenly something caught my eye it was a girl with platinum blonde hair and blue icey eyes. It was Elsa but she was dressed so nice today that I even had to admit it, so nice I could even say beautiful she wore dark blue skinny jeans with crop topped tank with a blue flannel over that was unbuttoned exposing her crop top that exposed her belly. Her hair was down really nicely into a bun and she wore some make up even though he doesn't need any oh jeez I'm gawking at a another girl with my girl. That's when she saw us and started walking to us she stared not at me but at Astrid oh jeez this is going to be bad........
