Niall's P.O.V

"Liz, baby, it's time to get up." I said, shaking her shoulder.

She fell asleep on me about an hour ago, but the plane is about to land and she should probably get up. Liz opened her eyes and sat up, rubbing her eyes. I laughed and strapped in my seat belt, and then hers.  She smiled and thanked me before leaning against my shoulder and closing her eyes again. I laughed and looked down at her.

"Liz, c'mon we are landing." I said.

"Fine, I'm up." She groaned and sat up.

Within the next few minutes the plane landed and everyone started to get up and get off. I unstrapped my seat belt and stood up, making sure that Liz wasn't asleep again. She wasn't, thank god, and she stood up as well. After grabbing the carry on luggage that we were sharing. I took Liz's hand and let her to where the exit was.

"Do you think there's going to be paparazzi or fans?" Liz asked,  letting go of my hand and wrapping her arms around my free arm.

"I don't know. I don't think that anyone knew we were coming. Unless someone on the plane saw us and spread the word." I said. Liz started talking about how excited she was about me meeting her parents as we were walking down the terminal. I tried to pay attention, but I was lost in my own thoughts.

I am really excited to meet her parents, just like she is. But I can't stop the nerves that are slowly taking over. In about a half an hour or so I'll be shaking the hand of Liz's father. I've seen her father in the videos I watched before I met Liz, but this is so much different.  That was through a video not in real life. I need to make them like me because I'm so in love with their daughter.

When we got out of the terminal I pulled Liz closer to me. For a small airport it was pretty busy. I know that Liz has been in this airport tons of times and I don't want to get split up because that would be bad. I'd be late meeting her parents and that wouldn't make a good impression. I sighed and rubbed my head. I'm starting to get a headache from all this worrying about her parents liking me.

I guess Liz must have noticed my actions because she pulled me over to the side where it wasn't as crowded as where we were. I put the smaller suitcase down and she took my hands before I could do anything with them.

"Niall, what's wrong? I thought you were excited for this." Liz asked, scrunching her eyebrows together. Shit, she took this the wrong way.

"No, no baby I am excited for this. I'm just... I don't know. Since the plane landed I'm getting a lot more nervous than I thought I would be." I said, dropping her hands and pulling her into a hug.

"Do you want to talk or...?" She trailed off. I shook my head and rubbed small circles into her back. I know how much she loves that.

"No, I just need a few minutes hugging my girl." I said, making her laugh and wrap her arms around my neck.

I closed my eyes and a small smile played on my face as Liz ran her hands in my hair, playing with it. God, I love this girl so much. Liz's got me through so much without even knowing me. I hugged her tighter as Liz spoke up.

"Niall, we should get going or we'll be late at meeting them." She said. I snapped my eyes opened and pulled away.

"Yeah, we should go. We've got to be there first so they'll like me." I said, grabbing the bag.
