Niall's P.O.V

I laughed at the joke my Dad said and looked over at Liz. The sun was sitting which made her look as if she was glowing. She was in the middle of laughing at what my Dad said. I'm so glad she's here. I'm so glad that she's here in my home town, meeting my family. They already like her. I can tell. My Mom's been so excited for this and she won't stop talking to Liz. She's been asking questions about how her tour is, how her music is going.

It's great that they get along. I know I'm in for a hell of a night because they're going to embarrass me a lot. Especially Greg. But I don't really mind. I've never really brought a girl home to meet my family before so I kind of like having to go through all the traditional steps normal people would take for this. I mean Liz and I are sometimes on the cover of magazines. It's only because we are in two bands and we don't exactly have a private relationship at the times. But it's nice that we can do something really normal for once.

"Here we are." My Dad said, pulling into my mother's driveway. I guess we'll be staying here. My Dad will probably go back to his place later tonight and then we'll meet up again sometime tomorrow.

I looked out the window at the house I grow up in. Well, until I went to stay with my Dad. It looks just the same as it usually does, which brought a smile to my face. It's nice to see that some things never change. I snapped out of my thoughts when the car turned off and Liz slipped her hand into mine. I smiled down at her and kissed her forehead before we got out of the car.

Greg's car was following behind us and they parked next to us. I walked over to the trunk of the car and started to pull the bags out. Liz helped, grabbing her bag. I swear that bag gets pinker every time I see it. Well, not literally. But every time I see it... I don't know. It's hot pink which is pretty bright at times. Especially when the sun is starting to set and it's getting darker out.

"Okay, so I thought that it would be a good idea to make something that Liz really liked. Niall told me you loved Chinese food but since I thought a home cooked meal would be much nicer to come home to, I made lasagna." Mom said, looking over at Liz.

"That's perfect. I haven't had lasagna in a long time." Liz said, making my Mom smile.

I know how long my mom's been waiting to meet Liz, she bugged me about it before Greg's wedding. She's been so excited for this and from the looks of it, it's everything she's been waiting for. I'm so glad that she likes Liz. I knew she would, but it's nice to have reassurance. I'm really confident in the fact that my Dad, Greg, and Denise will like her as well. But we've got one down, which is great.

We made our way into the house, bringing a smile on Liz's face. It may not be nearly as big as hers, or high tech, but it had a really homey feel to it. I instantly knew she liked it, which was great. My Dad helped Liz get her suitcase to my old room, then saying that he'd go see if Mom needed any help or anything.

Liz started looking around my old bedroom and I watched her. Her finger traced over my old dresser, looking at the few things I left here. She walked over to my old bed and ran her fingers down the cover before sitting down on it. I really like seeing her in this room. It's hard to believe that four- almost five -years ago, I lived here. At that age, I had no clue what was going to happen. I had no clue that I'd be put into One Direction, getting signed. I had no clue that a little less than three years later I'd meet Liz and fall helplessly in love with her. Then almost two years after that I'd bring her here to meet my family.
