Caitlin's P.O.V

I had to use all my strength not to role my eyes. Marty just keeps on talking and talking and I just want him to shut up already. He's been here for a good ten minutes and all he's done was tell me stupid stories about him on the road. Don't get me wrong, I like hearing about funny things that have happened to him while on tour. But he hasn't even let me get a word in. I can't even tell him of the photo shoot we did for the magazine, or any of the things we've done on stage. He won't even let me talk. It's all about him. Well I've got news for him, I don't give a flying fuck.

"So then I took the bra that was on stage and wrapped it around Beck's face. You should have seen his face." Marty laughed, putting his arm around me. I laughed to, although it was forced. For a boyfriend he really does not see through m forced laughs. You think he would. Some boyfriend he is. But he's not all that bad. I mean he did fly all the way here just to see me. That's a good boyfriend.

I was about to say something to him when there was a knock at the hotel door. I sighed, knowing that it was either Liz or Julie who forgot their key card. I swear they forget their cards almost every time. I gave Marty's shoulder a squeeze before getting up and walking towards the door. As I opened the door I said,

"Girls, you really need to start remembering your... key. Louis?" I said, my eyes widening a little bit at who was standing at the door.

"Caitlin, wow... you're hair. It looks great." Louis said. I stared at him in shock.  For two reasons really. The first being that he was here. In Australia while he should be in South America. The second was that he noticed my hair. Marty didn't even say anything about it.

"Thanks, uh... why are you here? I mean, I don't mind. But uh... come on in." I said, moving aside so he could walk into the room.

I really honestly can't believe that he's here. It's just such a shock. He's here. He came to see me and he's not even my boyfriend. Shit, my actual boyfriend is on the couch. How am I supposed to be around the guy I'm dating and the guy that I've had mixed feelings for over the course of the last two years. I shook the thoughts from my head and closed the door, following Louis into the main part of the hotel room.

Marty looked up and stared at Louis for a minute, before giving me a strange look. I shrugged and tried my best to step away from the two men. The tension is this room was already huge and it was only growing. Louis turned to face me and asked,

"What's he doing here?"

"What do you mean what am I doing here? I should be asking you the same exact thing. Is there a reason why you decided to come and visit my girlfriend?" Marty asked, standing up. I moved to get in between the two boys, hoping that it would simmer down whatever was growing between the two.

"Your girlfriend? Your girlfriend? That's hysterical because I know for a fact you don't give two shits about Caitlin. I saw you with that girl, Marty." Louis said, moving around me to get closer to Marty.

I looked at Marty in shock, and then to Louis. Marty did what? And with who? What is Louis talking about? Did... did Marty really cheat on me? Again? I gave him a chance and he broke it. He couldn't have though? There's no way he could have cheated on me. No, not again.

"What are you talking about, Louis? What girl? The only girl I care about is Caitlin because I love her, what does it matter to you?" Marty said, taking a step closer to Louis. Oh God, this is going to led to a fist fight. Shit, what do I do?

"Bullshit you love her. You don't even know the meaning of love if you think you love Caitlin. And Caitlin is too nice to say this to your face, but I'm not her. You're nothing but a piece of shit. You don't care about the fact that you're hurting Caitlin. All you want is to get a lot of action, to be the big man on campus. Well I'm not going to sit around and let you walk all over Caitlin." Louis said, shoving Marty backwards.

I don't think I've ever seen this side of Louis before. It's scary. I've always seen him as his goofy, yet caring side. He'd crack his jokes but he'd always be there for me no matter what. He'd be my rock, but this... this was scary. It's also a little hot, but it's more scarier than anything. I shook the thoughts from my head and moved in between the two guys. I wish I was taller, I only reach a little past their shoulders.

"Caitlin, get out of the way." Marty said, grabbing onto my arm and trying to move me out of the way. Louis grabbed onto my arm and then slide his arm down, wrapping it around me waist.

"Don't touch her like that. Caitlin, c'mon you have to believe me. I saw Marty with another girl at a football game. Cait, I wouldn't lie to you." Louis said, looking down at me.

"No Caitlin, I would never cheat on you. Not again. Louis is just trying to destroy something that we have and he wants. You can't believe this asshole. You're not that stupid." Marty said, making my mouth drop. I narrowed my eyes at him. Did he really just call me stupid?

"I can't believe it." I said, which earned a sigh from Louis and a grin from Marty. "I can't believe that I ever gave you a second chance, Marty. I should have known this would have happened. Just... get out of here." I said.

Marty looked at me in shock and tried to take a step closer to me but Louis pulled me back. Marty glared at Louis and even I got a little scared. I moved behind Louis as Marty passed by, knocking into Louis' shoulder and then mine.

"You're going to be sorry Louis." Marty said, right before leaving the hotel room.

I sighed and let go of Louis' arm, not even realizing I was holding it. I brought my hands up to my face and rubbed it, also moving towards the bed to sit down. Is it wrong I'm really not surprised? I should be, but I'm really not. I felt the bed dip down as Louis sat next to me. His arm wrapped around my shoulders and I sighed again, leaning into his embrace.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said it like that. But I needed to tell you." Louis said, rubbing his hand in small circles.

"Don't be Lou, I'm really not surprised. I've never really had a good track record with guys. I guess I'm not the type to attract a real, honest, loyal man. Maybe I'll just buy a couple of cats and call it quits." I said, trying to sound happy but I honestly don't want to be.

"That's not true because... well uh... I haven't told you this, but Caitlin... I love you."
