I slowly made my way over to where there were boxes on the other side of the room, and it seems like God likes me today, because the one I needed was right at the bottom; making me stay there even longer. When I picked it up and spun around, I immediately saw a slightly tanned boy, muscle-y, leaning against the opposite wall, hair spiked up, staring directly at me. Not even at me, like he was looking through me. He casually moved his hand through his hair, making it sexier, and pushed off the wall, walking straight over to me. (picture on side)
"Hi, do I know you?" he asks, frowning cutely.
"Uh, no, I don't think so anyway" I say. I was searching through my mind, wondering if I'd been at a shoot and seen him before.
"Oh I know where I've seen you!" he says, grinning.
"Where?" I frown, but can't help but smile.
"My dreams" he winking, and I started laughing. I wiped a tear and looked up to him smirking. "Your laugh is cute" he comments, and I blush.
"T-Thanks. I'm Sammy" I say, sticking my hand out.
"Kyle Smith. Nice to meet you, Sammy" he says, grasping my hand, and instead of shaking it, he gently bought it to his face and kissed it, never looking away from my eyes. Again, I blushed. "Can I drive you somewhere?" he asks, dropping my hand to my side.
"Sure. I have to go back to my work, and I guess a car ride with a cheesy pick-up line guy is better than a smelly cab driver" I wink and walk past him and down the hall, my heels clicking on the wooden floor. I could hear him chuckling behind me, and we got into the elevator.
"You know, I only use pick-up lines on the cute ones" he stated, leaning against the wall of the elevator.
"Oh I don't doubt that. I'm pretty damn amazing" I laugh. He smirked.
"And so modest, too" he joked. I rolled my eyes, amused.
"Of course" we got off the elevator and I followed him out to where his car was; silver convertible. My eyes wide with awe, I slipped into the shotgun seat. He started it up smoothly, looking over to me with a smirk that looked amazing on his face.
"Where to, Sammy?" he asked.
"DNA Models, please" I say, still in awe at the car. We were off with a smooth start, and he easily swerved through the New York traffic, coming to a stop outside of the building.
"Next time I see you, I'll buy you a drink. Work hours or not" he states. I nod.
"Deal. I'll be looking forward to it" I say. I lean over flirtatiously and kiss his toned cheek. "Thanks for the ride, Kyle" I whisper and get out quickly, not bothering to look back as I walked across the pavement and into the posh lobby, hearing him drive away as soon as I stepped inside.
Once I was in the elevator, I leant against the wall, the box in my hands, and sighed. He was so... attractive. I never really went just for the attractiveness. I was more of a personality kind of girl. But man... his eyes. And the smile, and his hair, good God, the hair.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, nothing exciting happening after meeting Kyle. When I got home, I waited for Gracie before pouncing on her as soon as she walked through the door with Tom, wedding magazines in her hand. I told her about Kyle and his attractiveness, and how badly I want to make an excuse to go to Calvin Klein again just to see him, and get that drink he promised. They only laughed at me, not a mean laugh, but a friendly laugh, and told me to leave it, and if I ran into him again, then to go for it. The said something like 'let fate do it's thing', but screw fate. It didn't work with me and Fletcher, so why should I trust it again?!
And here I go again, Fletcher taking over my thoughts, with his stupid fiancé, who is probably a model, or something better... an actress. They have those in California, right? Yeah. Screw him, too. Screw Fletcher and fate.
Little did I know, the two go hand-in-hand.
