"I was at Jedd's for the night. Yeah, we got off work late and went to dinner and back to his for a movie before crashing" I say, trying not to panic. The other's eyes relaxed, and the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it" Gracie announced and I took that as my cue to leave to get changed. I just put on some sweatpants and a tank top before going back out to the lounge, my eyes widening. Again.
"Jedd. Hey" I say and smile.
"Hey, how are you?" he said, kissing my cheek. I saw Fletcher move uncomfortably. What the hell's his problem?!
"Good" I nod and sit down.
"How was the meeting last night after I left?" he asked. Damn it Jedd! Don't ask that! I saw the others look panicky, and Fletcher frown in confusion.
"It was okay. Just had to deal with a new shoot" I shrugged, hoping nothing else will be spoken about last night.
"Ah okay. You found a ride home alright? I felt kinda bad, being your only ride home and I left" he said sympathetically. Far out. I'm busted.
"Yeah, yeah, a friend uh, bought me home" I shifted uncomfortably. Fletcher and Jedd both looked at me confused, and I sighed. I gave Jedd a look, and he caught on, but thanks to his big mouth, he wasn't so subtle.
"Oh! A friend. I get it" he winked.
"I don't... I thought you said you were at Jedd's house?" Fletcher said, looking between me and Jedd.
"My house? Sammy, what's he talking about? I thought you- oh" he sounded out the word 'oh', realisation setting in about my night. "Aw, my little cousin's all grown up" he coo'ed, pinching my cheeks, making the others laugh, but Fletcher just look more confused.
"Growing up? Now? Jedd, I've lost count of the amount of times she's walked through the front door in the morning in the day before's clothes, or at night, with a guy attached to her face" Gracie laughed, rolling her eyes in amusement. We all looked at her, Fletcher still confused, but slowly catching on, Jedd amused, laughing, and the rest of us in shock that she just let it slip out.
"So, who was it this time?" Jedd asked. I groaned, face palming.
"I'm still confu- wait. I get it" Fletcher said, and he looked visibly uncomfortable. He cleared his throat and Jedd looked at me confused.
"Gracie, did you not introduce these two?" I asked, looking at her. She looked guilty, from saying what she did, and also for not introducing them. I sighed. "Fletcher, this is my cousin, Jedd. Jedd, this is Fletcher Moore" I say, narrowing my eyes at Jedd.
"Nice to meet you man" Fletcher says.
"You too Flet- oh!" his eyes went wide in realisation. I had told him countless stories about Fletcher, and just now he remembers them. Great. "Crap Sammy, sorry! I didn't mean to uh, yeah" he smiled apologetically. I sighed, again.
"It's fine" and then, I remembered Fletcher being engaged. "Oh, and in response to your question, Jedd" I look at him. "It was Kyle Smith. You know, the Calvin Klein model I was telling you about a while ago?" I say. He looked into my eyes, searching for something, and he seemed to find it cause he began to play along. I sent a look to the others, and reluctantly, played too.
"Oh him! Damn, I would turn for him" he joked.
"Wait, Kyle Smith? Are you serious?! He's like, the best male model!" Gracie said, being serious. "Sorry babe. But here, I'll google him and you can have a look" she says and types on her phone. I looked to Fletcher, who was glaring at the phone, and he looked to me, his gaze softening before looking away.
"Holy crap. How did you get that?!" Dylan said shocked.
We all laughed. "Dyl, you need to stay here more often, and see the guys she walks in with" Gracie laughed. I wasn't sure if she was still playing along or not.
"Yeah Dyl. Even I see them sometimes. Who was that one with the black hair and the red shirt? Just before summer?" Tom asked. I tried remembering, but came up empty.
"I forgot his name. I was probably drunk" I shrugged and leaned back into Jedd.
"Dude, you're always drunk when you do them" Gracie rolled her eyes, and I threw a pillow at her.
"I wasn't last night!" I stuck my tongue at her.
"Seriously? Huh. That means you weren't planning to do it" Gracie wiggled her eyebrows.
"You know me too well" I smirked at her. "Wait, why are you here? You've got work today" I say to Jedd.
"Oh yeah! I need the notes you did at the meeting last night" he says. I nod and walk to my bedroom, him following. I sat on my bed and dug through yesterday's handbag for my book. "Sorry about before. I didn't know it was... him" he said, sitting next to me.
"It's fine. I'm fine" I wave him off. My hands began shaking as I kept looking, but I couldn't find it with my hands how they were. He grabbed them and I faced him.
"You're not okay. Don't lie to me. Stop lying to yourself. I know why you keep getting drunk, and sleeping with random guys, Sammy. We all know it. You need to admit to yourself the real reason" he says, looking into my eyes. My lip trembled and I buried my face into his chest, sobbing. He rubbed my back and waited for me to finish.
"I don't know what to do" I whisper, sitting away from him, and found my book. I passed it to him, but neither of us got up to go. "I'm in love with a guy who's in love with someone else, and is going to get married soon. I'm hopelessly in love, and I don't know what to do..."

A/N: So I said a couple chapters ago there was like, 15+ more parts to this story atm? well, I'm on chapter 66.... that's 45 more after this one. I'm defiantly going to make it into a trilogy, or quickly finish it up.
