Chapter 28

*Lauren's P.O.V*

"Right we are going in two groups I want Glenn and Michonne with me. We will have Aaron with us. The rest in the campervan" Rick says walking off to the cars. I grab bag and walk into the campervan. "Mum, where are we going?" Tia asks. "Hopefully a new home baby" I say sitting down. Cieran sits down next to me with his son Jack. I smile at him. I notice a bag of nuts on a shelf that no one has noticed. I stand and grab them and hand them to Tia. She smiles and starts to nibble. The truck suddenly jerks to a stop and I fall into the person behind me which happens to be Merle. He helps me stand but as I get to full height we are thrown towards the door on the left. I look up to see us swerving around trying to get out of the walkers. "Warn us next time yea?" I yell before I rush over to the closest seat to me which is by Daryl he puts his arm in front of me stopping me from falling and Merle does the same to Tia.

Once we escape the walkers we pull over. I stand out by the tree wanting to know where they others are. I hear a yell to my right. "Daryl!!" I yell. He rushes to me and hears the yell. We run to it and see a young man we don't know surrounded by walkers. "Please someone help me! Aaron!!" I stab the walkers in the head. I look down at the man to see his left ankle is crushed by the real passenger side tire of this old truck. Me and Daryl roll the car off him. The man yells in pain. "You with Aaron?" I question. The man nods. "Yes I'm Eric his boyfriend" I smile then help him up and we lend him our shoulders

As we walk back to the group they aim there guns on us. "Friendly" I yell. We carry Eric to a warehouse where Maggie and I wrap up his leg. "It's just a broken ankle okay" Maggie says to the man. He smiles and thanks us. "Eric" we hear a panicked voice yell. Aaron then walks in and rushes over to Eric. Me and Maggie leave them in peace and go to the others. Rick looks around the room fast but when his eyes fall on me he stops. Daryl walks over to me and places an arm around me. "Thank you all for saving Eric. I don't know what I would've done if I lost him." Rick nods. "We leave in the morning. Everyone get some sleep" Rick says and everyone goes off in other corners.

"Hey" Daryl whispers lightly in my ear. I sigh in content. " too cramped in here. Rv is out front, want to go in there?" I smile at him and kiss his lips and giggle as his small beard tickles me. "I'll tell Rick" I mumble. He pecks my lips before walking outside. I walk up to Rick. "Me and Dare are gonna stay in the rv its too cramped in here." I say. Rick nods but doesn't look at me. I walk to the back and see Daryl sprawled out on the bed. "Move your ass" I chuckle. "Nah my ass is comfy" I hear Daryl muffle into the pillow. "Your ass is in my way" I smirk. "You love my ass" I think about it and then agree and chuckle.

He moves onto one side and I climb in as I get in he puts his arm around me. "How you feeling now" I look at him confused. "Don't think I haven't noticed you throwing up every once in awhile." I sigh. "yea I'm okay" I sigh. "Do you think it could be.." He wanders off. "I don't know it could be" I whisper. "Tomorrow I will find out for you okay" I say looking at him, he smiles and pecks my forehead. I rub my hand over my stomach lightly, I wonder. I soon hear light snores from Daryl and he moves his hand that's wrapped around me and places it on top of my hand on my stomach. I smile and fall sleep.

I wake up to the door opening, I look up with sleepy eyes and see Merle. I look at Daryl and see him passed out. He hasn't slept much. "Rick said Eric can take the couch because you two haven't slept in ages" I smile and slowly worm out of Daryl's arms. "We think I might be pregnant" I whisper looking over at the sleeping redneck. "That would be good then if this place is good" he replies. I nod. "Do you still get those nightmares? About Tia's father?" He asks. I look up at Merle. "I did. But not in a long time" I smile. "You two are good for each other. He helps you and You help him" I smile and look at my handsome redneck. "Get some rest" He closes the door to the bed room at the back and the others climb on. I fall back asleep thinking of my family growing bigger

I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'm sorry I haven't been updating my school was doing a production of Beauty And The Beast Musical. I can't sing so I was only in the chorus. But all went well. ALSO MY MUM FINALLY GOT ME ED SHEERAN TICKETS!!!! BEEN WAITING YEARS TO GO AND FNALLY GOING!!!!!!!!!! p
