"Laura, wake up" Ross whispered to me

"Why?" I asked, noticing we were still in the hospital bed.

"We're dippin"

"Dipping what?" I asked confused.

"No, dippin, as in we're sneaking out!"

"We can't, actually you can't"

"But I'm finnnnnne"

"Are you?" I asked

"Yes. Cmon, let's go" he stated

"Ross, we can't"

"Why not. I feel fine"

"The doctors want you here"

"Well, I'm leaving" he said, beginning to move... "I just thought of something. I don't have any clothes here"

"What about the ones you were wearing?"

"I don't know, I think they were all wet from when I, ya know... drove, in the wrong place." He said as he scratched the back of his head.

"Seems like a you problem. Guess we can't leave. Darn" I said sarcastically.

"Laura, I'm serious. I want to leave. I can't stand this place. There's beeping noises 24/7, the food is disgusting, the people all look miserable, I have to wear this ugly gown, it just all sucks" he said in frustration.

"Ross, you know we can't"

"Can't you for once go against the rules?" He argued. "For me?" He pleaded, pushing my hair back from my face.

"Ross."

I'm really trying not to cave in... it's just so hard...

"I'm leaving regardless. I'll find some scrubs or something, I'll pretend I'm a nurse"

"Absolutely not" I stated

"Well it's the only way I'm getting out of her for sure"

"Fine, I'll go get you clothes, but if you get caught sneaking out -"

"I'm not gonna get caught"

"Fine, I'm be back" I said Rolling my eyes, about the leave.

"Wait, Laura"

"Yeah?" I asked, hoping he'd change his mind

"Here's my credit card. Buy whatever you want. And stay safe" he said, pecking my lips.

"See ya soon" I blushed, running to the store.

I spent nearly an hour at a near by mall, trying to find Ross clothes that he would wear. Of course, the only stores around contained expensive clothing so I spent so much on just one outfit. Finally, I found an outfit, purchased it, then went back to the hospital.

When I got there and signed in, the front desk told me Ross could leave tomorrow.

"Is there anyway Ross could leave today? He has many commitments for his music" I argued, hoping they would understand and change their minds
