Chapter 8.5

Does Farlan...actually like me?

The thought kept ringing in your mind. You never thought Farlan was the type to like..well, anyone, to be honest. He didn't seem like that type of guy.

You kept pondering this during your first expedition. You stayed close to Levi, as he wanted you near him at all times just in case something had went off the market.

He would sometimes glance at you to make sure you were okay, but you never realized, as you were listening to sound of the horses hooves running against the ground.

• 2 and a half hours later •

Levi decided to separate from Farlan and Isabel. He demanded you come with him so he could keep a close eye on you.

It started to rain. Bad. Clouding any view from your target, Erwin Smith. You weren't really a fan of assassinations, but you had no choice but to go along.

"Please be careful, you guys.." you gave Farlan and Isabel a warm look as you gave them a slight hug. Levi mounted his dark horse and urged you to come along.

"We don't have all day. Come on before the rain clears." He ordered with a frown on his face.

"I'm coming..." you turned from them as you mounted the back of Levi's horse.(yours ran away after you attacked the titan). You held onto his waist as he whipped the horse's rein and it began to gallop away.

Levi gave a slight turn of his head as he took a look at his friends.

Isabel gave a wave with a large smile smothered on her face, and Farlan gave a slight smirk.

1st Person Pov

The mist was really doing some damage on my eyes, and it felt as if we were going for hours.

"Levi, do you even know where we're we going?" I questioned him as I started at the Wings of Freedom emblem on the back of his green cloak.

He did not respond.

I sighed and snuggled my head into his back to shield myself from the rain and mist.

"(Y/N)..." Levi called out my name in a faint whisper.

"What is it?"

"Look...."

I felt the horse began to slow down as I looked up. I took a glance at my surroundings and saw nothing but bodies.

Blood was splattered all over the grass, and I could see some organs loose.

I held in a vomit as I turned the opposite direction only to see more bodies.

"Oh, my God!" I yelped.

"Shut up!" He whisper-yelled at me as he began to make the horse run again in search for Farlan and Isabel.

"I'm scared! Where's Isabel..? And Farlan!" I began to hyperventilate as I gripped onto Levi's cloak, tightly.

"You need to calm down. They're fine..they're fine..they're fine..." Levi repeated the phrase over and over again as if he too was scared to death over their safety and he had to promise himself they actually were.

The horse slipped on a patch of water and me and Levi fell to the ground. I heard him grunt from the fall as he looked up.

"Oh...my God!" I immediately began to cry.

I couldn't hold it.

There stood a titan. Right there in front of my eyes with a persons body in their mouth.
