I cupped my ears as a rupturing of fire lit up the morning sky. This monstrous sound was by far the worst I've ever heard. I...I can't exactly compare it to anything, however, the scream of that gigantic beast...it's something I'll never be able to forget.

"Go!" Commander Erwin shouted aloud, bringing up his arm and pointing into the near distance. "Everyone on your weapons!" His deep, dominant voice sent my comrades on their way, shooting out their anchors onto the nearest thing and shooting forward.

Samuel, of course, stood behind. He didn't look so happy about that; a small frown plastered against his masculine features. I looked towards Commander Erwin, and he returned a nod.

Now fully recovered, I started off as a light walk, then a slight scurry, then a full blown run in pure ecstasy. It had been such a while since I fought against a Titan!

I released the pressure on my anchor and blasted off into the scorching sky, heated off simply from the temperature of the monster much, much more bigger than the Colossal. Frankly, it burnt my skin. My eyes scanned around, meeting my comrades each taking a turn at the Titan that was screaming in pure agony.

Large bits and pieces of its skin flew from its scorching body, flying off into the air. I twisted and turn in attempts of dodging it, and anchored myself towards one falling gracefully towards the ground.

"(Y/N)!"

My name was called. By whom, I already knew. He was worried; a tad bit too worried. However, the body that appeared next to me was not my cold-hearted and stoic lover Levi- it was a short, blue-eyed girl with blonde hair whom held claimant to my Throne.

Historia Reiss.

She eyed me intensely, her strong gaze filled with pride and determination. She spoke loudly against the ravaging sky, "Please, let me be the one to strike my father down!" She pleaded. Her long, blonde hair rapidly flew against her face, and the blinding sun almost blocked her view from me.

O-Oh, that's right. Rod Reiss...this is her father.

I blinked slightly before giving a small smile, and springing myself back up at a fast pace. I'd never get tired of the ODM. Despite the constant fear of venturing beyond the walls and battling against man-eating titans, the feeling of being free just from this simple tool.

My anchors connected towards the tip of the wall, and the wind practically carried me beneath my back. My eyes met the beautiful sky, though the sun, again, blinded me. My hair whipped and fluttered and my eyes instinctively closed.

Boom

The destructive sound didn't phase me. My eyes remained closed, in fact, I smiled. Many things have been going on with the Survey Corps, so I'm glad...I-I'm glad this was another victory for humanity. I'm glad Levi is okay, and Samuel, and my friends too.
