"All rise for the trial of Eren Jaegar. Military Police seeks to keep Eren within their grasp for..?" A judge stood behind a large podium with a gavel resting beside him.
We stood in a courtroom with beautiful art on the ceiling. There was two sides. Defendants and prosecutors. Military Police being the prosecutors and the Survey Corp Regiment being the defendants. Erwin claimed Eren could be much use in the taking back of humanity, while the Military Police claimed Eren was a threat and that we should exterminate him before he got the chance to obliterate everyone. I stand with the Survey Corps, slightly gripping onto Levi's shoulder to support myself. The handcuffs that were placed on my legs ripped into my skin, and it still hurt. Mikasa has a black aura surfacing around her body as she stares at Eren handcuffed to a large pole in the center of the courtroom.
"Defenders, please state your proposition." The Judge says, taking a glance at Commander Erwin.
Erwin clears his throat and begins to talk. "We believe Eren could be an effective accessory in the retaking of Wall Maria. We could somehow use him to our advantage against the titans. Killing him will do us no good. It was stated that he killed twenty titans before finally wearing himself out, don't you think that would be very useful in the comeback for humanity?"
The judge gives a slight nod in agreement, and turns to face the Military Police. "What do you have to say about this?"
The shrunken eyed man that had ordered me into custody began to talk on behalf of the MP's. "That man is a traitor to humanity. We should kill him, open him up and see what makes him tick!"
Eren gave out a slight shiver and frowned. "I'm no traitor! I've been putting my life on the line for you ungrateful sacks of shit ever since I joined the Trainees! If you don't have the courage to fight for yourself, then shut up and let me carry the weight!"His sudden outburst shocked the Court, as everyone remained deathly quiet. Nile ordered a soldier to aim his weapon, prepared to sink a bullet if need be.
Levi's eyes widened at the attitude of this boy, while Erwin looked at him and gave a slight nod.
Levi positioned me to lean against Erwin while he quickly jumped over the barricade over to Eren and kicked him hard in the face. Eren recovered and looked up at Levi with shock, only to be kicked again.
Kick, after kick, after kick.
Eren's face bloodied and Mikasa began to jump over the barricade, but luckily, Armin held her back.
After a minute, Levi stopped and began to speak to the court. "I personally think pain is the best teacher. Don't treat them like a man, treat them like a dog." He stomps Eren into the floor, and leaves his foot on Eren's head.
Poor Eren...
My stomach turns at the sight. I didn't know Levi could be so brutal.
