Where am I?I stood in an old, worn down cabin. The floors creaked with every step I took.
"Let's just go. She'll be fine." I heard a mans voice call out in a room. I followed the voice to investigate, and I saw...
By the walls....
Dad!?
But, he left me...when I was so young...I hadn't even turned 10 when he left to the surface....
My father stood next to a woman I immediately recognized.
My mother.
I scowled at the sight.
"You bastards! You left me in the Underground to die!" I scream as I charge at my father. I attempted to tackle him, only to fall on the wooded floor.
My father disappeared from my sight. I looked towards my mother. She focused her sight on me.
"You were always...such a disappointment, (Y/N)." Her eyes showed anger and frustration.
"You left me!" I began to sob and gripped onto her dress for support. She kicked my hand away and scoffed.
"I would do it again if given the chance" she giggled and leaned down to whisper in my ear, "nobody will ever love you (Y\N). You're useless. You can't do anything right. I wish I never gave birth to you. I wish I had the strength to give you away the first time I laid eyes on you," she said as her image began to disperse.
I sobbed and tried to put her image back together.
"Don't do it again, mom! Please not again! Don't leave me!" I panicked as her particles disappeared in front of my eyes.
I sniffled and ran my fingers through my hair. I heard the sound of a child crying in a corner. I turned my attention towards the sudden noise to see the younger version of myself. I crawled over to her and sadly smiled.
