Brad and I woke up at 8 and ate breakfast. After I finished my PR Kathrine called.

Me: hey Kathrine
Kat: hey Savannah, I'm calling about your endorsements, are you renewing them?
Me: I am not. I can't be endorsed in college, but tell them I will make new ones afterwards
Kat: alright I will let them know
Me: thank you and let me know about my Apple account and my car, and then my Nike card
Kat: of course, bye Savannah
Me: bye Kathrine

I hung up and then called Hope

Hope: hey Baby Horse
Me: hey, sorry I didn't get the chance to call you back
Hope: it's fine, how was PT?
Me: it was okay, I'm at 110 now
Hope: progress is always good
Me: yeah, when is your next game?
Hope: tomorrow we play Boston
Me: gah I wish I could play
Hope: I wish you could too, have you found out about Valedictorian?
Me: nope, but they should be calling today
Hope: how many students have a 4.0
Me: a lot actually but for Valedictorian they see what classes you take and do a weighted GPA.
Hope: so do you and Brad have a chance?
Me: yeah because they also count in athletics and clubs.
Hope: good, well call me when you know
Me: I will, bye Hope
Hope: bye Baby Horse

I hung up with Hope and Brad and I went to his house to eat lunch with his parents.

Mike: have either of you got summer schedules?
Me: I have but won't be doing anything until August 10th
Brad: I was sent a guideline for workouts before I report on the 1st.
Sarah: oh good, well when it gets closer we'll figure out how we'll move you in
Me: alright, ooh hold on let me take this

Me: Savannah Solo speaking
Mr.A: hey Savannah, how's you first day of no school?
Me: it's been good, very relaxing
Mr.A: good, well as you know I'm calling about Valedictorian
Me: yes, sir
Mr.A: well surprisingly or not surprisingly you and Brad have the exact weighted GPAs, making you tie for Valedictorian. Now I am going to let you decide. Just remember both you will get recognized but only one does the speech
Me: alright I will let you know
Mr.A: thank, you also class president also has duties in ceremony
Me: yes sir, thank you
Mr.A: of course, bye Savannah
Me: bye Mr. Ainsworth

I hung up and turned to Brad.

Me: well we tied, we'll both be recognized but only one of us can do the speech.
Mike: well congratulations you two
Sarah: I'm so proud
Brad: thank you, and we can talk about it later babe
Me: yeah that's smart.

We all finished eating and talked for a while. After we finished eating, Brad, Duke and I went back to my house. I let Duke outside to go run and Brad and I sat on the couch together.

Brad: so, what do you want to do?
Me: well seen as how both of us will be recognized and that you'll speak as class president, I thought that I could do the speech
Brad: can I help with the speech?
Me: yeah of course

We talked for a while and then went to the school. Brad went to the locker room and Duke and I rolled our way to Garvin.

Garvin: so?
Me: you're looking at West Point's 2017 Valedictorian
Garvin: awe congratulations
Me: Brad is too but I have the speech while he does the class president one.
Garvin: oh good
Me: where are the boys?
Garvin: Todd is bringing them, they are up at the field house.
Me: oh okay

I helped Garvin work the gate until Todd came with the boys.

Rand: Vanna! Vanna!

Me: hey little man
Rand: can I sit wit you?
Aulds: yeah can we?
Me: if your mom says so
Garvin: of course, you guys go in and get 5 seats
Rand: yay!

I led them in and found 3 open seats with 2 behind them. I sat down and Rand crawled into my lap.

Rand: can I play a game?
Me: yeah here you go
Aulds: what's this on your arm?
Me: my elbow brace, it keeps my arm it a set place
Aulds: does it hurt?
Me: sometimes
Aulds: so, what's this?
Me: that's part of my shoulder brace, it wraps all the way around my ribcage
Aulds: wow

Jayme and Todd came in with Noah when the game started. We were playing JHS and we were fielding first. At the end of the first inning it was 2-0 us and Brad had already pitched a strike out. After two more innings, it was 5-1 and Brad had home run in the 3rd inning.

Aulds: mommy I'm hungry
Rand: me too!
Me: me three
Garvin: of course, you are Solo, well come on you three. Do you want anything hon?
Todd: no, I'm good, I'll hold Noah
Garvin: alright, we'll be back

The 4 of us wen to the concession stand and Garvin got two hot dogs for her and Noah and then 3 nachos for the boys and I. The boys were sharing a coke, I had a water and Garvin had a Dr. Pepper. We got all of the food and drinks back to our seats. Garvin made us all put germ-x on our hands before we could eat.

Me: I didn't think this through
Garvin: problem?
Me: uh yeah, number 1 is that my hair is everywhere, and two I can't hold these and eat.
Garvin: I have mustard on my hand or I would help
Rand: I'll help you eat Vanna
Todd: it might not be the best but I'll try to pull your hair up
Me: thank you
Garvin: yeah, you'll have to work on that hon

As we watched Rand would eat a chip and then he would feed me one. After the fifth inning, we were out of nachos and we were up 7-2. After two more innings, we won 11-3. Brad had pitched another no hitter to end the game. Garvin and then boys left and I just waited for Brad to come out of the locker room. Once he did we went to his truck and headed home.

Me: do you play again next week?
Brad: yep, on Thursday and if we win that we're headed to Sulphur for state
Me: well I will be there, somehow
Brad: we'll figure it out

Brad and I had a late dinner and then celebrated his win before going to bed.
