*Forget me not*

I can hear noises coming from the kitchen. I looked at the clock by my nightstand and sighed. I slowly got up and sleepily made my way to the kitchen.

In the middle of our kitchen floor, my wife was surrounded by stacks of papers and folders.

"Yeobo it's 3am.. let's go to bed." I sat down beside her.

"Later.. I still have some sorting to do."

"Big case?"

She sighed and nod. She looked at me and pouted.

I laughed.

"This is all you're fault!"

"Mine?"

She nod vigorously.

"You forced me to be a lawyer!"

I laughed out loud this time.

"Now.. I can't find my glasses! It's driving me crazy! Yeobo you know I can't read without them.."

*Should I tell her? Or make her suffer more?*

But when I saw her almost in verge of tears I can't keep it anymore. I've got to tell her.

"Yeobo..."

"Hmmm.."she answered distractedly.

I reached up to her head and gently remove the glasses. Her eyes widen when I gave it to her.

"Don't you dare say anything!"

I laughed and raised my hand at her and shooked my head. She sighed.

"Bed?" She nod. I stood up and reached for her.

I pulled her up and wrapped my arms around her.

"I can't believe how forgetful I'm!"

"Ani... it only means it's time to take a break..."

-----------------------------

I sat down enjoying my breakfast as I watched in amusement my wife running around the kitchen liked a headless chicken. She was dressed in a black pencil skirt and white kamiso like shirt.

I grabbed my toast and walked to her. I stopped infront of her.

"Huh?"

"Ahh..." I said as I positioned the toast by her mouth.
She took and big bite and smiled at me.

"Chew slowly.." and she did.

I grabbed my coffee and placed it by her mouth.

"Careful. It's hot." She took a sip and sighed in happiness.

"Let's go?" She nod. She went to the counter and got her laptop bag. I took the rest of her files and got her bag for her. We went for the door.

I looked at her and trying hard not to laugh.

"What?"

I pointed at her head. She immediately realized why I was smiling.

"god! My curls!" She quickly removed them one by one and fluffed her head.

"Better?"

I nod.

"Don't forget your jacket and house keys."

Her eyes widen and ran to the table and grabbed her stuff.

"What would you do without me?"

"I would have been dead already."

I laughed and kissed her lightly.

------------------------

I was in a meeting and can't help to look at my watch.

*1:45pm.*

"Excuse me." The director and writed nod in reply.

I quickly pressed 1 for her number.

"Yeoboseo?" She answered.

"Yeobo... "

"Oh..." she answered distractedly.

"You asked me to remind you, you'll be picking up some groceries toda.. don't forget."

"Oh yeah! Thank you! I almost forgot."

I laughed.

"Thank you yeobo... " she whispered to me.

"You're all pack for your trip right? What time is your flight?"

"5am, but don't worry. I already have a taxi pick me up tomorrow.

"Araseo..I've got to go back to my meeting."

"Araseo.. see you tonight."

"Do you still know where "home" is?" I can't help teasing her."

"Yah! KIM RAE WON!!"

I laughed and hung up.

*I'm gonna pay for that later.*

----------------------

My morning is unusually quiet without her. No russlings of papers, no sounds of her heels.

*It's so lonely without her...*

I went to the counter to pour myself some coffee.
There on the table my breakfast already prepared.
And a note lying beside it.

Yeobo,

I already had someone scheduled to clean the house while I'm away. She will be there on thursday. Don't forget your appointment with the doctor for your semi annual check up. I've confirmed your scheduled yesterday. You have a meeting with some writers this afternoon and I've already had your hotel booked for your shoot tomorrow. Don't forget your vitamins and scarf. Don't leave without it.. it's gonna be  colder this week.. I'm gonna miss you so much.. I love you..

See you in a week Yeobo... I love you.

I laughed out loud after reading her letter.
How can she be forgetful but yet seems to remember everything to do with me.
