First story requested by psychoticweirdo, thank you so much for requesting this. Though I'm not really sure how to end it.
Hope you enjoy it.
WORD COUNT:769
----
"All that I'm saying is that, if you keep overworking you'll end up passing out." She tried to explain to her fiancee in a calm but begging tone despite being already yelled at.
He always admired her for calm tone and empathy for everyone. But at this time he grew annoyed with every word that came out of her mouth.
"You should know where you stand, [Y/n]!" He snarled, his hand reaching out to grab anything he could get his hands on and threw it at her.
A pair of scissors flew across the room and stabbed the wall.
"I'll . . .I'll be going home." She whispered, throwing him a very concerned look.
---
"I am extremely sorry for my tardiness . . ." she trailed off not knowing what else to say when she realized that everyone threw her judgmental stares across the room. She felt her face heat up in embarrassment as she bowed down again.
"I can't believe it," said an older woman, the CEO of a famous telephone brand, with bewilderment in her eyes. "The heir Minatozaki comapanies is working under Akashi Seijuro."
The red head, standing at the center of the room, was still pissed that he was interrupted of setting his point across cleared his throat to avert their attention back to him.
"Being born to the Minatozaki Family was by luck, take her last name away and she's just like everyone else. Stupid and useless."
"Excuse me." Disappointed, [Y/n] now stood up straight and elegantly walked over to her empty chair. She looked at her fiancee with disbelief in her eyes and sighed. "Again, I apologize for my tardiness."
---
"YO, you should calm down. You might-" Aomine stopped himself when Momoi nudged his side as if saying that his mere words wouldn't stop her from playing.
[Y/n] played on the court, taking out whatever she felt by shooting threes and dunking in the ball from time to time. Though they didn't know the cause, both of them had a gut feeling that Akashi was the one who angered her.
"Stupid and useless," she yelled across. "He called me stupid and useless in front of everyone in the conference room. I GET IT I INTERRUPTED HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS MEETING BUT WAS IT NECESSARY?"
The calm and collected [Y/n] was replaced with a very furios [Y/n], dribbling her anger out on an innocent rubber ball.
Both of them sighed. "This is gonna be a long day." They said in unison.
---
Regret consumed his entire being as he walked into her mansion with his head hung low and a bright flower arrangement hugged close to his chest. He knew his 'other side' got the best of him, but he had never wanted to lash out on her like that.
"[Y/n]-san isn't home yet, Akashi-san." Her mother greeted with a stern look on her face. She stood there by the doorway dressed in a traditional kimono that didn't match her facial expression. "What have you been saying to her these past few days? And why is there a scar across her face?"
'A scar?' His eyebrows furrowed until he realized that he was also the reason behind it. He remembered the night he threw his sharp pair of scissors across the room.
Suddenly he felt as if he was being pulled down. His yet to be mother in-law's words were all 'fuzzy' and he found it difficult to comprehend what she was saying. The flowers in his arm hit the ground with a loud thud.
And soon he followed.
---
When his eyes fluttered open the first thing he heard was his Fiancee relieved sigh. He felt her hand brush against his forehead.
"I was worried, Seijuro."
Looking up when his eyes finally adjusted to the light, he realized he was in his room. He looked tp his side and saw that his fiancee was knelt beside him. With no words he reached out to trace her bruised cheek.
"I'm very sorry, my empress."
She let herself lay down beside him.
"I don't want you think that you're useless or stupid. "
"Mhm," she smiled. "You passed out from overworking yourself." She wanted to hear him say that she was right all along and that he should've listened.
"I should've listened to you." Her eyes widened for a brief moment and thought that he was able to read minds now before she relaxed her head against his shoulder.
"After you let, Watanabe told me that you had something to announce over dinner."
Her giggle made him open an eye.
"I was so worried about your well being that I forgot to tell you something very, very important." She intertwine both their hands together.
"The future heir of both companies is growing within me, Seijuro."
