When the old shelves of their school's library collapsed, everyone came running to help those who were trapped. Yet no one dared to touch the 'scared virgin' of the Reizen family and pull her out from underneath.

It was her left leg that was trapped underneath. Yet the pain was excruciating.

She sighed, accepting that everyone's refusal to help her was a consequence of her snubbing all of them. With the pain blurring her vision through tears, she tried to lift up a fragment of the bookshelf. Just enough to free her numb leg.

"Kagami," tears threatened to fall out her eyes and cascade down her cheeks when she looked up at her 'savior'. Still, she was prideful enough to not say anything. "Please," she said in a hushed tone. "Take me to an infirmary."

He chuckled and crouched down. "I'll make sure no one sees you helpless on my back."

"Thank you, Kagami-kun."

He was always there even before their miserable, lustful relationship began. And even when she tried to push him away to the furthest place, he'd find ways to return to her. Every time he did, that scowl he used to scare away cadets got stronger and scarier. It's as if he forgot how to smile.

"Kagami," she whispered, her hands feeling the bed for his warmth. When the bed's thickness pointed out the difference to her she opened her eyes. The smell of antiseptic welcomed her when she finally awoke.

'I'm in an infirmary.'

"What time is it?" She abruptly stood up. The amount of blood rushing up to her head made her dizzy. She felt the thin fabric of a white gown Riko put on her. Confusion had no room in her mind when those voices told her to fear something else.

"It's an hour after supper, Commander," Hyuga answered, approaching her with his stethoscope in hand even if it wasn't necessary.

"Where is Kagami?" She demanded.

"Lieutenant Aomine must've seen him raping you and acted as soon as he found Kagami out alone."

"Bold of him to assume it wasn't consensual." She was gone, already holding the open. "Damn!" She didn't expect rain at this time of the year.

Riko and Hyuga tried to protest and convince her that running out from the infirmary was a terrible idea and would put her health to risk. However, with the way she was standing matched with a determined look on her face spoke volumes to them even if she didn't say anything at all. Hyuga walked to the Commander with an umbrella in hand.

"The rain will taint you, Commander." He said, trying one last time to convince her.

"I'm as stained as the soldiers in battle, there's nothing left of me."

Those were her parting words before dashing out barefoot in the rain with only a flimsy umbrella to protect her and a thin white gown.

Kise gulped, throwing a glance at Midorima. 'He doesn't look bothered at all.' Aomine, just in battle, lashed out on Kagami through his whip. Maybe it was the power of Alcohol in his system, but blood staining the concrete walls didn't bother him at all. There was a smile on his face when Kagami was bound to the wall with chains, only growing bigger with every hit he gave.

"If you were by chance attracted to me, I'd see this as our sexual fantasies coming to life rather than torture." In amidst of his torture, he still had the strength to smirk at Aomine.

Pushed beyond his limit, he dropped his whip and kneed Kagami's abdomen. His anger all expressed through hits. Why wasn't he the Commander's 'lap dog'? He'd willingly give up his title of 'Lieutenant', BUT NO! Kagami, a Eurotean, SOMEONE FROM THE ENEMY'S SIDE WAS CHOSEN. And now, he knows that he's gotten a taste of the Commander. That was infuriating. She was supposed to belong to him.

"What is this all about?" Midorima averted all of their attention from Aomine and shoved a pack of papers towards Kagami. "We found this in your bike, why do you have this in your bike?" Old military records, war tactics and the previous generations of Reizen Heads.

Instead of giving in, he teased again. "Take a wild guess."

Aomine pushed Midorima away, kicking the bag to the side and wiped the blood away from his mouth. "He's a spy, that's all there is to it. You took your precious time with the Commander, tell me was she like all of the sluts you've fucked before?" He gripped Kagami's hair, forcing him to look at him. "She's as filthy as you are now. I wanted that virginity of hers, but it seems she's lower than you'll ever be."

Taiga transitioned from nonchalant to angry. Pulling on the chains, he wanted to beat him to the pulp. "Don't you dare talk about her like that, asshole." Unable to break free, he resolved to spit on Daiki.

"Watch who you're calling an asshole." He staggered back, wiping away his spit as he staggered back. He took a good look at Kagami, hand on the hilt of his sword.

He raised up his sword high. "Not even the Commander would want you near her anymore." Yelling, he swung down at an angle that guaranteed decapitation. Countering his attack was a long sword.

"Officer Kise and Colonel Midroima, Lieutenant Aomine reeks of cheap liquor. Take him to his quarters." Said [Y/n] from behind, calmly returning her own sword to its guard.

There she stood in her own glory despite the dark interior of the cell in her uniform. Her neck adorned with bandages and sword against her hip. Her hair was tied up and with fearlessness in her eyes, she glared at Aomine. "Release Kagami Taiga at once and escort him to my cambers, I'll tend to his wounds myself."

"Commander we found evidence of treason in his bike." Said Midorima, how his friend acted was outrageous but he, too, detested Kagami.

"It was my attention to do so. I sent him on to retrieve those papers without the higher-ups knowledge. He's my property and if he dares betray me, I'll take to myself to eliminate him. Perhaps his eyes would fit perfectly as a ring."

They watched in horror as she smiled darkly. When Kagami broke free from his chains and collapsed on her lap.

"But he raped you-"

Sliding off her left glove, she revealed a ring. "Is enough for an explanation?"

The Commander was married to her Knight.

"Are you alright, Taiga?" She asked in a soothing tone. She stood him and supported his weight with her much smaller frame in comparison. "Don't you dare lay a finger on him ever again."

"I love you."

"You should rest." Snubbed [Y/n], shutting her windows curtains. "If it weren't for your ring, your head would be rolling on that dirty floor."

It was the ring that he left her in the infirmary that she used as her fake wedding ring. Lying about their marriage. That was something new for a Commander. She never expected she'd have to lie like that, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

She threw his ring at him, to which caught with ease. Leaning against her pillows he asked, "Why did you use my ring to fake your marriage?"

"Because, you still have use, Kagami." She sat on her bed, pretending to glare at him. "Why are you even here? I demand you to return to your cabin this instant."

"You were worried."

"Pardon me?"

He threw his head back. "You don't have to say anything, your face is already showing it."

She understood what he meant when she caught sight of her reflection on her mirror. The tear stains and sad, red eyes all swollen. Sighing she laid down beside him.

He lifted her hand away from her pillow, "I'm not wearing this anymore." He said, sliding his ring to where he believed it belonged.

Dimming her lamp and losing the battle against her slumber, she held his hand longer. "I love you, too, Taiga."

She finally replied.
