"And you're half-American?" She confirmed with a twirl of her pen. Chin resting on her open palm.

'Keep playing with your pen like that and it'll fly out.' Shougo wanted to pull his hair out of anxiety that her pen will stab someone's eye once it flies out of her grasp. He was panicking inside while he looked calm outside. A talent perhaps. Or what if the point was  . . . somehow pointy enough to stab the human-robot through his heart.

For an actor who wanted to appear like an asshole so badly, he was the exact opposite off camera.

He couldn't see what she saw in the emotionless tree at all. But still, he trusted her instinct.

Maybe it was his naturally blond hair. Having naturally colored hair would mean less hair dye to use on the actors. Perfect for her show with a low budget. And using a model would mean more endorsements that can come.

"Ryouta-san, you should know that accepting this role will affect your modeling career."

"I wouldn't have auditioned if I knew that was coming." He sassed back already rolling his script. "You can get a hold of my manager."

"Continue with that tone with me of any of the production team and I'll make sure you repent. I won't be easy on you either." She smiled, waving him off when he slung his jacket over his shoulder walking out the door.

When the shut, giving them a five-minute break. "Why, [Y/n]?"

She almost looked at him innocently in question. "Why would you cast someone so, so  . . . STOIC! For someone whos's so happy?"

With her pen, she pointed at the list, "Cause his name is already, Ryouta. Thought it'd be easier."

The longer he looked at her, the longer his mind processed what she said. It kept on processing her words until they were proven to be dumb. Slowly his mouth hung open to ask, "What?"

Giggling she waved her hand to the person in charge of the actors outside, "Trust me his manager didn't know what to do with his attitude problems so he turned to me. Giving him that role will force him out his boundaries and will make him work with people."

"And you're sure it'll work?"

"Trust me." She relaxed and smiled at the twins who entered. Haizaki did the same. The two stood close to each other with open scripts in their hands.

Honda Seijuro and Seiichiro. The twins that swore to dedicate their lives to acting at the young age of ten. They were, undoubtedly the media's favorite pair of twins. "I'm ready when you two are."

Leaning back, Haizaki crossed his arms, his eyes tired. [Y/n] seemed to be different, still as energetic as she was when he picked her up in the morning.

"Congratulations, you got your roles. Seiichiro-san will be Kuroko Tetsuya while Seijuro-san is Akashi Seijuro. I'll send your contracts in tomorrow."

"And," Haizaki added, "the two of you can say goodbye to your black hair."

As young actors who carried scripts instead of books in their bags, appearing in one show after another, dying their hair in colors one can never imagine was surely a part of the package. Haizaki willingly dyed his silver. However, after the procedure that came along with it, he swore he'd never endure another hair process. 'Kudos to you guys. I don't even know what your natural hair colors are.'

In unison, they smiled.

Eerily.

"If it's for the sake of our art," Seijuro began.
