My Best Friend

Tim POV
"See, now was that so bad?" I asked once we were done with the red carpet and were walking to our seats.
"I guess not but we'll see later what the internet says" She said still a little uneasy
"Stop worrying" I said kissing the top of her head.
"I'll try but no promises." She said with a small smile. "Do I get any hints about the song you're performing?" She asked slightly pouting.
"No baby, it's a surprise for everyone, including you" I said as the light flickered and we took our seats.
"Fine" She said rolling her eyes.

A little while later
I was backstage in my dressing room preparing to go on after Kenny. I really hope Faith likes the song and knows how much she means to me.
"Time to head to the stage Tim" one of the backstage attendants said. I took a sip of water before following him to the side of the stage waiting for my cue.
"Our next performer is up for album of the year tonight and debuting a new song, please give it up for TIM MCGRAW!!" Lady Antebellum announced. I looked over at Faith and winked at her before starting
