Dear Diary,

It's me again. I know I'm writing after such a long time.

A month prior, we had our 15th marriage anniversary. Oh yes, it has been 15 years of togetherness with my hubby - Rudra. My 13 years old daughter - Aashirya reminded us when this two little demons. Aashirya and Avika planned a surprise of us. I'm their mother and motherly instincts never fails. These two baby devil's behavior smelt fishy.

Ever since Avika came in our life, I lost touch of you, diary. My apologies!

Rudra! He is amazing father, I tell you. He is also adorably romantic husband, writing this with a wink. He always got my back, no matter what situation was. Like I always write, he brings best in me. I can't ask for more. Rudra never wanted second child because he feared, it might be a boy. He considers boys as 500 inr or 1000 inr. Basically, useless!

After getting nagged by his parents and tons of debating session he had with me, my husband decided to adopt a child from orphanage In India when Aashirya was 6 years old and named her 'Avika'.

I always want to adopt a kid, educate him/her because there still exists financial problems in India. Moreover, when it comes to educate a kid whose parents earning is below poverty line, they simply ask their children to find a job to sponsor any further study if they want to pursue. Trust me! I never believed my in-laws would be so supportive with this idea. They encourage us to go ahead with our idea of adoption.

Then comes Sonal who stays three house blocks away from me. She is the one who teaches Aashirya and Avika all pranks. They are master of all pranksters. These team of three will send me to mental asylum soon. Sonal is the one who told my kids about our 15th anniversary and Avika stole Rudra's credit card to get stuffs for decoration.

Living room beautifully decorated with balloons and candles. Seeing food at table, I freaked out - either these girls or their father always mess with my kitchen. 'Don't worry, mommy. I brought food from favorite place - Thai Basil. There's pad thai noodles, brown rice with mus-nun (Red curry with peanuts, onions and potatoes in coconut milk), veg spring rolls. Enjoy your dinner. We are at Sonal's place with Vihaan and Atreyi.'

I could hear Aashirya and Avika giggles downstairs. I'm impressed by both my babies. Rudra never took so much to decorate home. He is the one who will say 'Let's go out' 'Your daughters are just like you. Melt me like ice cream with those characteristic pouts and puppy faces.' Rudra came out of the rest room. He wore olive green full length t-shirt and black denims. It reminded me of night date he took me. So, I decided to wear same outfit I wore that day - off shoulder orange floral print knee length black dress. Great! I still fit in that dress.

Those flashbacks make me feel so special. As we had dinner,Rudra and myself revisited those memories after 18 years, I suppose. My husband never miss a chance to pamper and love me.

Writing down a secret, Rudra ages like wine. I still can't take my eyes off.

When my daredevils came back, I pulled Avika's earlobes 'Tell me truth. Who told you these? Aashirya or daddy?' 'Why do you always doubt your kids?' Rudra took his little princess side. 'Why would Aashirya Di tell me anything? Aaah. Don't you know Aashirya di never shares a thing with me? Yes, papa told me long time back. You know what?' Avika pushed away my hands. 'I'm not staying here. Aashirya Di, back pack your stuffs. We'll go to Sonal masi's place for night stay' Avika rushed to her room. Few moments later, Avika held Aashirya's hands and walked downstairs.

'Look at your kids.' I complained to Rudra. 'No No. They are your kids. You too do same. When you fight with me, you leave me alone and go to best friend's place to stay.' Rudra blamed me. After we engage ourselves in blame game, these two musketeers made their way to Sonal's house.

I know, rest of my life will be same way as it is now. With Rudra and my daughters by my side not to forget Sonal as my best friend. I'm blessed to have them in my life. When I chased for wrong one, I found right one right beside me. I never thought of my life to be flawless without Shailesh. The fact is, it definitely is.
