Day 2

Toni's POV
"KT, its time to go school!" I yell up the stairs
"I don't wanna go," She whines coming down the stairs
"Well I have a present for you," Cher says
Kait shrugs and eats her oatmeal. Cher puts the bag in front of her and KT reluctantly opens it.
"A Black serpent jacket like yours?" She says looking up to me
"Yep! And your Uncles are coming and all 4 of us are going to drop you off at school," I say
"Oh Ok," She says "Thanks for the jacket,"
She puts it on and jughead and the boys come in. Jughead dies his hair back to brown or as close as he got it to brown anyways.
"Sorry Cheryl, Still supporting you, just couldnt deal with the taunting from some serpents," He says looking at Sweetpea and Fangs "I bought a pin,"
We all laugh and then get on the motorcycles to bring Kait to school. We pull up to the school right as all the girls in her class are gossiping out front.
"Mom, I dont want to," She whispers from behind me
"Its fine sweetie,"
She gets off, fixes her hair and starts walking towards the girls. She turns around and waves to us, and the boys give her a signal for show.
"Lets go Boys," I say hoping back on my bike.
We leave and go on with our day but I cant help but wonder how KT is doing.

Kaits POV

I walk right past the girls until one stopped me.
"Hey, wait up!" She yells as I pass her group
"What? Havent you tortured me enough?" I asked confused
Her and all her friends turn to face me.
"It's Kathryn right?" One of the shorter girls ask
"Kait," I correct her
"Whatever , anyways uh who dropped you off today?" Another one asks
"My Uncles and my Mom, why?"
"There was just a lot of them to drop one kid off at school," The short one asks
"They had business to take care of after, now if you could just leave me alone, that would be great,"
"Do you know who I am?" She says giving me attitude
"Nope, and not really interested in knowing anyways," I say trying to walk away yet again
"I'm Victoria Klump,"
"Great, nice to meet you," I say sarcastically
"I'M NOT FINISHED!" She snapped "Thats Claire Clayton, Lily Doiley, CeeJay Brown, and Elliot Muggs,"
"Nice to meet you all, I just actually met your mother at a party the other night, she was very nice" I say to Elliot, trying to sound genuine
"Your parents know all about our parents," Lily says
"Great, what do they have to do with this?" I ask confused
"Your parents formed the Riverdale 4 and kept ours out, found fame while ours went off to college and when they came back never let them back in?"
"I'm sorry I think I've heard that before but I don't know what it means, I haven't lived here for long."
"Riverdale 4? The Blossoms, The Coopers, The Jone's and the Mantles," CeeJay tells me
"Oh right," I say "Well, I am sorry about that but I don't know what I can do,"
"You cant do anything, whats done is done, so unfortunately you are going to suffer because of your parents,"
"Which is who exactly? Jones is the only Riverdale 4 from the Serpents and you said he was your uncle," Claire cuts in
"Cheryl Blossom," I reply
"But you said your mom dropped you off, and that wasn't the Cheryl blossom who my mom showed my online."
"No Toni dropped me off today, CHeryl stayed at home," I explained "Why am I even explaining this to you, I got to go,"
"Where? You have no friends and even for a loser like you that has to sting,"
"Used to it, in Canada it was the same, Just stay out of my way and I'll stay out of yours," I say
"Whatever Blossom, just watch your back," Claire threatens
I roll my eyes and walk into the school, put my bag on my hook and walk into my classroom.
"Hello Class, today we are doing the first math competition of the year! Today we are doing adding."
We go through everyone and I won. The questions were really easy.
"Kait can you come into the hall with me?" My teacher asks
I follow her into the hall.
"You're really good at math," She says
"I guess," I say shrugging my shoulders
"Can I ask you a couple questions?"
"Ya go ahead,"
"Kait whats 109x6?"
"654,"
"11x342?"
"3762,"
She asks me like 10 questions about math, 6 about science, and a couple about history, and geography. After she's finished asking questions she says to go down to the office and that Toni and Cheryl have been called.
"What did I do?" I ask confused
"Oh sweetie you did nothing wrong just go see Mrs. McCoy (principal) and we are going to talk about you moving up a few grades,"
"Ok,"
I walk down the hallway and sit on the bench until my moms show up. Before they do, Claire and Elliot come down the hall followed by CeeJay.
"Topaz-Blossom," I hear one of them say
"What do you want?" I say rolling my eyes
"Why are you here?" CeeJay asks
"Why do you care?" I respond
"Just answer the question!" Elliot demands
"None of your business, I'm just waiting for my moms," I say
"Why?" Elliot asks more aggressively this time
I ignore her and roll my eyes. A bigger girl, probably 4-5 years older than me emerges from behind me and grabs my shirt. She pulls me away from the windows where people could see us down a hallway where no one could see us.
"Who are you?" I ask, kinda scared
"My name is Jaycee but I was put in foster care so my last name is Smith,"
"Weird detail to tell someone on the first conversation but ok?" I say trying to stay call
"You know, your parents have made a lot of enemies over the years, a lot of people are really upset with them,"
"So I've heard. And which I will repeat again, I AM NOT MY PARENTS! I don't even share DNA with them, I don't know what you want me to do,"
"You know, I don't have any anger towards your parents," She starts
"No? then why don't you let me go," I say struggling to get my jacket out of her grasp,
"Because Elliot right here told me you have an uncle that i might have beef with,"
"Thanks Elliot what a nice friend," I say sarcastically
"We're not friends,"
"Whatever, Which one?" I ask so done with this conversation
"Which one has a girlfriend?"
"None," I said, I didn't lie they weren't dating, they were engaged like long term from what I knew
"Which one used to date a blonde haired girl, she went to school with Cheryl Blossom,"
"Oh, you mean aunt Betty and uncle Jughead," I sat sweetly
"Ya that bitch,"
"Woah, watch your language," I say laughing
"SHUT UP!" Claire yells
"Continuing, I believe Jughead and Betty are my parents and they abandoned me when I was born,"
"Again nothing to do with me," I say
<Taylor Topaz Blossom to the principles office> the PA system blares
"Got to go,"
"Your name is Kathryn,"
"My birth name is Taylor, I have a weird history,"
"Whatever, I don't want the principal to come looking for you but tell my parents I hope they die and that I and my friends are going to make your life a living hell," She says letting go of my jacket
"Can't wait!" I say giving her a phone smile
"One more thing,"
She turns and punches me in the face causing me to stumble and fall to the ground. Then Claire, CeeJay, and Elliot all kick me in the side. They all laugh while I catch my breath. They start walking away and I get up.
I walk confidently past them and they gasp.
"Is that all you got?" I laugh as I pass them and walk straight back to the office.
I round the corner and Cheryl and Toni are sitting on the bench talking.
"Kathryn where have you been? Cheryl says looking at me and then down at her lap angrily "They called you down 15 minutes ago,"
"Sorry, some girls had uh, something to say to me,"
Toni looks at me,
"Are you bleeding?" She asks
Now that she mentions it, I taste blood.
"What happened?" Cheryl said calmer
"Some girls wanted to talk to me," I repeat
"What girls?"
"Those girls," I say pointing over my shoulder at the 4 emerging from the hallway
Toni crosses her arms across her chest and Cheryl flips her hair and puts her hand on her hip. That sends them scattering and they run away in different directions.
"Can I see your mouth?" Toni asks
"Sure,"
She looks and apparently she knocked out 2 of my bottom teeth and probably broke my nose because both my eyes were brushing and the bridge of my nose was bruising. I also showed Cheryl my ribs and they were bruised too, maybe fractured.
"Mom, do you know anyone with the last names Doiley, Muggs, Clayton, and Brown?" I ask Toni while Cheryl goes to find some tissues
"Uh ya, we have a complicated history,"
"So I've heard multiple times in the last couple days," I say squinting my eyes
"They all have kids the same age?" She asks
"Yep, and they all hate me because of you two, oh and uncle Jughead and aunt Betty? They had a daughter?"
"Wha-what how'd.."
"Their daughter doesn't like them very much so she took it out on my face," I say half smiling, now starting to feel pain
Cheryl comes back and the principal ushers us inside her office.
"Josie?" Cheryl asks
"Hey Cheryl, hey Toni, Finally got back to riverdale after a long few years at college and being a teacher in Greendale,"
"That's so good Josie,"
"Uh What happens to her face?" She says looking at me
"A couple girls have been bullying her," Cheryl says
"What happened? It's the second day of school,"
"And the second attack," she shows her a picture of  my baseball jersey
"Oh my god, what girls,"
Toni looks at me to talk.
"I can't say," I say shyly
"Kait... you really need to this isn't ok," Toni says
"Been through worse, barely even hurts,"
"Ya well, if your not gunna tell her I will," Cheryl says
"Fine. Claire Clayton, CeeJay Brown, Lily Doiley, Elliot Muggs, and an older girl named Jaycee Smith,"
"They will be dealt with," McCoy assures my moms
They talk about my smarts and everything and I ask to go to the bathroom. Toni says ok and I get up to leave.

TONI'S POV
KT leaves and we keep talking to Josie.
"Josie, if we transferred her to Southside Public School could she skip a couple grades and then get away from the girls in her class,"
"Kait has a brilliant mind, now although we have the same resources as Southside, I want to keep her into my school to help her thrive, is there anyway I could keep her here?" She pleads
"Well the people beating her up really needs to stop, she's a tough kid, she wont complain and she wont ask for help. You saw her today, she just got up and walked away, she learned that from Betty because all three of us know it wasn't from me or Toni," Cheryl says
"Done," Josie replies "Will Claire Clayton, CeeJay Brown, Lily Doiley, Elliot Muggs, and Jaycee Smith please come straight to Principal McCoy's office immediately," She says into the PA system
"Thanks and we are going to take Kait to the doctors because her nose looked really bad," I say
"Completely understand, I'll see you out,"
We walk out and while Cheryl and Josie talk I start hearing weird sounds from the bathroom.
"JOSIE CHERYL," I yell
I can hear Kait whimpering and coughing through the door.
"Josie hurry up, I know I'm not aloud in there,"
Josie reaches the door and opens it. We see Kait sitting there coughing up blood trying, she doesn't notice us and continues to try and crawl towards the door, there is blood everywhere. Cher is queasy around blood and looks like she is about to faint.
"Cher go call 9-1-1," I say
"Leaving." She says turning around and walking out pulling her phone out
"Kait what happened?"
"The..girls.." SHe says before falling unconscious
"Josie..."
"Ill get the transfer papers ready after you guys leave,"
The ambulance gets here and they load KT in and Cheryl and I follow them on our bikes. We get there and they take kait into surgery we call the boys and try to find out what happens next.
"Oh, Toni Topaz, funny seeing you here its almost full circle," I hear someone say from behind me
Cheryl is facing that way.
"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be in jail,"
"Did I say your name? Did I address you in anyway? No, that's what I thought so stop being a bitch and let me reconnect with my babe,"
I still cant figure out who it is so when they put their hand on my shoulder, I whip my head around. I grab my switchblade before I even see who it is.
"Veronica? What the hell?"
"Hey babe, guess who had a get out of jail free card?" She teases
