Toni and her medication

Cheryls POV
I had to send the girls with Jug because Toni was right- She is out of it. And I mean no filter, no problems, Toni is high.
She gets to take the metal plate off her face during the day which is good but, shes also immobile if it wasn't for me.
"CHERYL!" She yells from the living room
"Yes TT?" I ask coming in from the kitchen
"I just missed you!" She says like a 13 year old
"Awe thats sweet," I laugh and sit down across from her,"
"Cher, I don't feel so well," She says suddenly trying to get up
"Woahwoahwoah," I say getting to her side and picking her up and walking as fast as I can to the bathroom.
I didn't get there fast enough and she threw up all over me. Great. At least the meds are wearing off, maybe within the hour I'll get my wife back.
"Oh I'm Sorry..." She stares blankly for a moment "Cher,"
I think shes coming out of it.
Toni never really eases out of anything, she snaps out of it.
"Wha-WHAT? Did I do that?" She motions to me cleaning my hair
"Ya,"
"Sorry baby," she struggles to her feet (or foot) and hops so she's hugging me from behind
"Its ok babe, your cute when your high,"
"I would kiss you but you smell like puke,"
"And who's fault is that?"
"True," She kisses me
"We have to pick the girls up soon at the Wyrme,"
"Ok," She kisses me again
I help her hobble to the kitchen and sit her down. She plays on her phone and i just look at her.
"What's wrong babe?" She asks \
"Nothing, just thinking," I reply
"About what?" She puts her phone down and grabs my hand
"How lucky I am to have you," I reply
"A wife with 3 broken bones, 2 bullet holes, a stab wound who throws up all over you? Sounds like a charmed life,"
"You're cute," I laugh "I mean to have you in my life,"
"How so?"
"You've always protected me, from heather, my mother, myself even, your the best thing to ever happen to me Tones,"
"Cher, you could have handled all those situations by yourself I was just there to support you,"
Flashback
We were sitting in pops and sharing a milkshake. The thing we do everyday after school. We were waiting for jughead and Betty so we could start heading up to a cabin Betty had rented for the weekend. I hear the bell chime thinking I would see my blonde cousin coming in, I was wrong. Heather came in.
"Cher Bear!" She yells making her way over
Toni and I were on the same side of the booth so i grab her hand and whisper,
"You know I love you,"
She nods, but is still confused because she never actually met Heather.
"Hi Heather," I say through gritted teeth
"Cheryl come here and give me a kiss,"
"No heather," I say
I heard Heather turned into a psychopath obsessed with me after my mom sent her away.
"Why not?" She pouts
"Hi, I'm Toni Topaz, Cheryls girlfriend," Toni says putting her arm around my shoulder
"Cher Bear, I thought we were dating,"
"Heather you left in the 8th grade," I say "We never even dated,"
"And your with this slut?" She says motioning to Toni
"Wanna say that again?" Toni threatens
We are all standing now in the middle of two tables, Heather closest to the door. Toni was wearing her serpent jacket and a top the showed her serpent tattoo. I was also wearing my jacket but it was less obvious since mine is red.
"Oh and she's a serpent. Wow Cheryl didn't know your standards were so low,"
"I'm a serpent too genius," I say rolling my eyes
"Because of her I'm guessing,"
"No I did it for myself,"
"Well Toni was it? Thanks for keeping my girlfriend company but I'm back so you can leave," She says grabbing my wrist'
"I think the hell not," Toni says breaking Heathers grip and putting me behind her
"Oh you've got a protective snake, but you don't love her as much as you love me," She teases
"Oh ya?" I say
I grab Toni and kiss her. Then I put my arm around her waist and pull her closer.
"Well you've been gone for a long time now, Heather was it?" Toni says mocking her "Please leave me and my girlfriend be,"
Just as she says this Jughead and Betty walk in laughing. Betty's face immediately drops once she sees Heather. Betty has been getting texts from her asking about me.
"Heather I think its time you leave," Jughead says from behind her
She turns
"Oh Jughobo got hot. If I wasn't reunited with my girl I would be coming for your man Betty," She winks
"Baby,  think its time we leave," Toni says obviously trying to aggravate heather
"Good idea TT," I kiss her cheek
Heather pushes me backwards but Toni catches me before I hit the ground. We kiss and I stand back behind Toni.
"I would appreciate if you didn't put your hands on my girlfriend ever again," Toni says calmly
Which was kinda weird she's always really aggressive after someone messes with me.
"What are you gunna do about it?" Heather says cockily
"Probably file a restraining order, I don't know,"
She swings at Toni and hits her right in the jaw.
"Oh MY GOD!" I scream
"Its ok princess I'm fine,"
Toni didn't even flinch, didn't step back, she just laughed at Heather.
"Oh Heather you really don't think Cheryl would date anyone weak," Toni teases
"This was fun but we must get going, come on baby," Toni grabs my hand and pushes past Heather "see you in hell Heather,"
"I'll be back," She turns and walks towards the washrooms
"Thanks for the warning,"
"Oh I love you TT," I say squeezing her hand
"I know, I love you too,"
"So that was an rare sight, someone not only threatened to take Cheryl away from Toni and put their hands on Cheryl, but also punched Toni, and tiny did absolutely nothing." Jughead says as we approach them
"Ya well, I feel like getting out of town without a trip to the sheriffs station so I decided to be kind," Toni says
Toni and Jughead go fix up the car and leave Betty and I to get the rest of our order, we forgot Heather was still in the diner.
"Babe now that she's gone we can actually talk," Heather says placing her hands around my waist
I slap her hands and turn around.
"Heather I have a girlfriend now, we made out twice in junior high- there is a big difference." I roll my eyes
"Not now that we can finally be together officially," She pouts
"Not happening," I say "Betty lets get out of here,"
I turn to walk away and she grabs my arm, and squeezes.
"Cheryl, if you don't maybe I'll just have to leak your past of drugs and bad behaviour to your little quarter life crisis, huh? That would be fun," She whispers into my ear
"Oh Toni knows all about my past and how I only did drugs once when you tricked me into doing them just to make out with me after I said no. Remember Heather? When you stuck a needle into my arm? Thats when I decided I would never be friends with you anymore," I snap trying to lose hold of her grip "Now let go before I get my girlfriend back here and trust me you don't want that,"
She lets go and swings at me this time and hits my in the eye, shes not a hard puncher so its doesn't hurt too bad but i do fall to the ground.
"I wont be back for a while, but when I am we will see who your girlfriend and your friends actually love,"
Toni walks in to see whats taking so long.
"Oh My God. Why the hell didn't you leave?" Toni says stepping in front of me protectively
"I was giving Cher one more chance,"
Toni clenches and unclenches her fist trying to calm herself down
"Goodbye Heather," She says just pointing to the diner door
"Goodbye,"
She turns around and hugs me.
Flashback ends
We never saw Heather again after that. We pick the girls up at the Wyrme and go home to sleep.
"I love you Cher," Toni says cuddling into me,
"I love you too Tones,"

A/N: NEXT CHAPTER IS GOING TO BE CHRISTMAS WITH THE KIDS AND THE GIRLS WILL ACTUALLY BE IN THE CHAPTER. THEN MORE DRAMA IS GOING DOWN.
