Cheryls POV
They weren't really in the same room, just the same hallway. So Alex goes to see Madi and I go see Toni.
"I heard you did great baby," I say sitting down beside her
I grab her hand and draw circles on her hand with my thumb.
"You have a lot more colour back in your face Tones, you look a lot healthier than earlier anyways." I laugh
I sit there for a while before a doctor tells me Madi woke up.
"Tones I need to go deal with your daughter, I'll be right back," I say kissing her forehead.
I walk a few doors down and hear Alex and Madi laughing.
"Madisyn Topaz Blossom, what the hell were you thinking?" I ask with my eyebrows raised and my arms crossed
"I wanted to help," She replies avoiding eye contact "And I knew my blood type,"
"Kiddo we could've found another option, or we could've talked about this as more of a last minute option,"
"48 hours is not a long time," She says
"No but I wish you would've told me," I say sitting beside her bed
"I'm sorry," She says looking at her hands
"Sweetie dont be sorry, " I say hugging her "You saved Toni's life,"
"I should've told you,"
"You should've told an adult, you're right," I say "But thank you Madi,"
I let go of the hug.
"Toni will be waking up soon, do you mind?" I ask
"Go, I'll be fine," She says "Plus I bet she needs a Cheryl Lecture too,"
"I'm not sure what her lecture is going to be yet," I laugh
I leave and walk down the hall, to see toni choking and struggling.
"Nurse my wife is struggling," I yell
She comes in and removes to tube in Tonis mouth. And her eyes slowly start to open.
"Cheryl?" She says
"Toni!" I half yell hugging her
"Too tight Cher," She says as I loosen my grip
"I thought you died on me Topaz," I say wiping my tears
"Never bombshell,"
"I love you Toni Topaz,"
"I love you Cheryl Blossom," She smiles "what did I miss?"
"Well Kait seems to think her memory is back full time, which has been thus far true,"
"Oh My God really?" She asks
"Yep, and um well,"
"Cheryl what is it?" She asks
"Your liver donor, um was Madisyn,"
"What the hell Cheryl? How'd you let that happen?"
"She tricked Fangs into signing the form and got Alex to cover for her," I explain
"And didnt tell you?" She asks
"Not until both of you were already done with surgery," I say shaking my head and tearing up
"I'm sorry Toni," i choke
"Baby dont be sorry, I'm going to RIP into Madi, but dont be sorry," She says
"Go easy on her Tones," I say grabbing her hand "She did save your life,"
"I know," She says
"I also might've accidentally told Madi it was her dad that shot you so we have to deal with that," I say
"Oh cheryl," She laughs "you really fall apart with out me babe,"
"You're cute Toni," I laugh
"You're cuter," She says
I kiss her
"I missed that," She flirts
"Its been less than 24 hours,"
"Why cant I miss it?" She pouts
I kiss her again.
"I'm going to check on Mads,"
"Ok,"
I walk down the hall and ask the doctor if Madi can go down to Toni's room and they brought a wheelchair in.
"Is mom going to yell?" Madi asks
"She cant, so no," I laugh
"Was she angry?" She asks
"At me yes, at you not really," I say
"I'm sorry," She says
"You saved her life Madi," I say "Never be sorry for that,"
"I'll wait for Alex, she's in the bathroom,"
"OK I'll go see Toni,"
I walk down the hall and back into her room.
"Hey baby," She says "come lie down with me,"
I lie on the bed and play with her hair.
"How's Madi?" She asks
"I'm fine," Madi says from the door
"You little shit," Toni laughs "are you aloud to be out of bed?"
"Yes mom," Madi laughs
"Madisyn, why Would you do that?" Toni asks
"I wanted to help,"
"Thank you," Toni says "but you should've told your mom,"
Madi nods.
"I love you kid,"
"Love you too,"
The nurse brings Madi back to her room and Fangs and Sweetpea come in.
"Why every time I walk into a hospital room are you two BOTH on the bed?" Fangs laughs
"Because Cheryl is clingy," Toni says grabbing my thigh
"Your mean," I pout
"The truth hurts baby," She laughs
"Its actually because I don't sleep anymore between the boys and this lunatic," I say kissing the top of her head
"You said the boys dont wake up anymore at night," She says
"They dont but that doesn't mean I don't stay up worried," I admit
"We'll talk about that later," she says
"Speaking of the boys," I say seeing Betty come in with them
"Hand me these troublemakers," Toni says
Betty hand Owen to the Toni and TJ to me.
"Hey baby, how are you?" She says tickling him
"You're a good mom Toni," I say watching her smile at him
"You're better," She says looking up at me
I kiss her and she smiles into it.
"You're smiley now,"
"I'm just happy," She replies looking at Owen. "They're getting bigger,"
"Ya they are," I sigh "They are going to be off to college before we know it,"
"Don't say that," Toni says "I cant handle that,"
