Canadian Thanksgiving

Cheryls POV

It's 2 days to Halloween and KT gets released from the hospital today. She still has to to stay home from school though, she does her work from the hospital and now from home. Veronica had her sentencing delayed again but we could care less about it since she isn't bothering us.
"Kait, what do you want to go as for Halloween?" Toni asks her as we are driving home from
"Halloween? Oh um I don't really like Halloween, I don't eat candy really. If you want me to go I'll just put a hockey jersey on,"
"You don't have to go, but why are you sad?" I ask
"I missed Thanksgiving, its like my favourite holiday,"
"Honey you must be confused thanksgiving is next month." Toni says
"No it wasn't, its in October every year, the 2nd Sunday/Monday,"
"Search it up Cheryl," Toni says unconvinced
I search it up.
"Canadian thanksgiving is in October, but kiddo, our thanksgiving is in November,"
'Oh ok, when did I live in Canada?" She asks
Oh right she still needs to be reminded of literally everything. It's getting better, but slowly.
"Your entire life until last November," Toni reminds her
"Ok,"
We get home and the boys are already there.
"PodPea!" She says hugging Sweetpea
"Sweetpea," I remind her
"Ugh sorry," She says shyly
"It's ok kid I like it,"
"Hey Fangs!" She high fives him "Jughead, why are you here?"
"Kait, it wasn't jughead," Toni says
"Damn I really think it was,"
"I mean in high school I would have done it but Toni would murder me so," he jokes
"Ok that makes sense,"
Reggie and Tate pull into the driveway as we are all talking.
"Who's that?"
"Reggie and Tate remember?" Fangs says
"I remember Tate not Reggie though."
"Ok go play with Tate,"
"Ok," She says getting up
She runs up to Tate and gives him a hug and then runs off to play.
"Your kid just asked me what my name is, is that the new normal?" He asks
"Yep, she can barely remember Cheryl's name half the time," Toni says
"And she wont talk to me or Betty because shes convinced we shot a gun at Cheryl," Jughead asks
"Well, what else is new? Haven't seen you guys since the incident,"
"Ya sorry a lot has been going on plus, V is back and we didn't want her going after Tate because Kait isn't available to be kidnaped presently." Toni Jokes
"True, how long is V out for?"
"She extended the court until March but who knows with her,"
"Everyone is here now, why don't you tell us the news?" Fangs says
"Right! TT do you want to?"
She smiles.
"We decided to adopt another kid," She says pulling me on to her lap.
"Well, another 2 kids," I continue
"What!?" They all say
"Ya twin 13 year olds need a home, they are from Seattle and we started the process after Cheryl woke up from her coma,"
"3 kids?" Fangs says leaning back in his chair
"Well Cheryl wants a total of 5 but I said lets take it slow and see if we can handle 3," She says rubbing my back
"5 kids? That would be fun, you would have your own football team," Reggie says
We all laugh.
"Well, we decided to do it now since Cheryl is almost cancer free and kait is starting to figure everything out," Toni says
"except my name," Sweetpea says
We all laugh
"and Thornhill is officially built back up and we have how many bedrooms?" She asks me
"10,"
"thats right cheryl got ambitious and made 10 bedrooms so whenever you people need somewhere to sleep just sign out a bedroom," She says rolling her eyes "or thistlehouse,"
"What I burned it down and I built it back up bigger and better than ever,"
"What are their names? The Twins," Sweetpea asks
"Well PodPea," I tease "Their names are Madisyn and Alexandra,"
"Only KT can call me PodPea!"
We keep talking about the twins when Toni calls KT and Tate back over here.
"What the hell Toni!" I say
"We have to tell her,"
"I hate you,"
"You love me,"
"Yes I do," I say kissing her cheek
They get to where we are sitting.
"Whats up?" Kait asks
"Well first off what my name?" Sweetpea asks
"I want to say PodPea but that never works out well, Your now just Uncle pea,"
"boom shes getting better," He says high fiving her
"We have 2 announcements," I say
She looks around cautiously.
"Well whenever you say that everyone is crying and something bad happened," She says
"Thats so true," Jughead says
We all laugh.
"Oh girlie nothing bad happened, first off we are moving," I say
"Where?"
"Remember the bigger house being built about 1/2 a kilometer away?" I ask
She nods
"Thats our actual house, but there was a fire but it good as new!"
"Ok and whats the other thing?" She asks
"Were adopting another couple kids," Toni says
"From where?" 
"Seattle, twin girls who are a few years older than you,"
"Oh thank god," She says relieved
"What?" I say confused
"I did not  want a younger sibling,"
We all laugh.
"When are they coming,"
"Next week,"
"Ok can we go play again?"
"Go ahead,"
They run off and we go back to talking.
"You said next week?" Reggie asks "what day?"
"The 8th," I say
"Cher you didnt tell me it wa the 8th they were coming, isnt that gunna be a hard day for you?"
"Not really, nothing actually happened on the 8th just a test,"
"Ok whatever you say,"
We talk until its time for everyone to go home. We tuck Kait in and go fall asleep.
