Toni's POV
"Lodge?" I say "I thought you were in jail,"
"Guess who's got out on good behaviour," she says
"Not you," Cheryl groans
"Where are the kids?" She asks
Right on cue all 6 of the kids walk into the restaurant.
I try and signal madi to turn around but Veronica figures it out first.
"Subtle Toni, real subtle," Cheryl says patting my back
"Madisyn!" Veronica squeals "and there's Alexandra, the one with many names that looks like Tayleigh and Tayleigh,"
The owen is hiding behind madi and Alex.
"Did I get them all right?"
"Hi I'm Tony,"
Fuck TJ.
"And you are a little Blossom aren't you," Veronica says
"No I'm a Topaz," he says confused
"You look like a Blossom,"
"I look like Momma,"
"Veronica please stop talking to him," Cheryl says
"Come here baby boy," I say
He walks past her and I pick him up.
"What do you want?" Madi asks
"To say hi to old friends, Daddy might be getting out too,"
"Oh great," I say
"So you had a kid?" Veronica asks "who ended up not having a twin? Odd genes,"
"Owen is my twin," tj says
"Hey TJ we aren't going to talk to the mean girl,"
"Ok mommy I'm sorry," he pouts
"It's ok baby boy," I say kissing his temple
"Who's Owen?" Veronica asks
Owen peaks his head out from behind Madi.
"Hi Owen I'm auntie Veronica,"
"No she's not," Cheryl says
Alex picks Owen up.
"Anyways nice catching up, loved chatting. You might know my new girlfriend,"
"Aren't you married?"
"It's an open marriage," she says
"Mommy is your marriage open?" TJ asks
"No sweetie momma and I don't have a open marriage,"
"Oh ok,"
"Her name is Heather,"
"Oh we love heather," madi says sarcastically
"Why do we love heather?" Owen asks
This gets confusing with the boys involved.
"Hey Owen, we're playing the quiet game got it?" I say
He nods.
"Bye bye," Veronica says leaving
"Mommy the quiet game is boring," Owen says
"No more quiet game," I sigh
"Who's Heather? And why does Auntie Veronica love her?"
"She's not your aunt," Cheryl says
"She said so momma," TJ says
"She lied," I say
They both gasp and open their mouths. We told them that lying is against the law.
"But, but," Owen says
Cheryl nods
"She's not a good person," I say
Alex hands me Owen and I kiss his head.
"Did she scare you?" I ask
He nods.
"It's ok sweetheart,"
"And girls are you guys ok?" Cheryl asks mostly  towards Tay and Madi
They all nod and sigh.
"Good,"
We eat and then go home and tell Pea and Fangs.
"Sick love Veronica," Pea says sarcastically
"Don't love Veronica," TJ gasps
"She's a liar!" Owen whispers
Pea laughs
"I don't actually love Veronica it's called sarcasm,"
The boys think for a second.
"I love Veronica too," TJ says getting his sarcastic voice down
I laugh and kiss his cheek.
"Thank you Pea," Cheryl says
"Anytime,"
They leave to go help with the wyrme.
"So TJ, you want to play Football like mommy right?" Cher asks
"No momma, I want to play hockey like Kait, football is a bad sport,"
"Me too momma, I wanna play hockey!" Owen says
"We will get you in hockey," she says kissing their heads
"Really?" They say
"Mhm," she nods
They go up to their room.
"They know KT plays football right?" I say
"Toni they don't want to play football,"
"I know," I sigh
She laughs and kisses my cheek.
"Let's go lie down,"
"Ok,"
We go upstairs and lie down.
"I'm so tired," I say
"You actually kept it together,"
"Barely," I mumble into my pillow
The boys walk in.
"Momma can you read books?"
"Can mommy read with us tonight?" She asks
"YAy!" They say
"Mommy is sleeping,"
All of a sudden the boys start jumping on my back.
I groan.
"Books?" I ask
"YAY!" They both say
Cheryl smiles at me
"You're a bitch," I hiss
"Mommy!" TJ gasps
"Mommy that's a no no word!" Owen whispers
"Oh no," I whisper back "when you're my age you can say no no words too,"
"No you can't, Mommy isn't allowed to say no no words either," Cheryl sad slapping the back of my head
"Momma!" Owen gasps
"No hands on!" TJ says sternly
"You're right Tony Jace, no hands on," she says "sorry babe,"
She kisses me and I laugh.
"It's ok Cher,"
"We will talk about this later Mrs. Topaz," she murmurs
TJ sits on my lap and Owen sits on Cher's. She reads to them and I listen.
"...and they all lived happily ever after," she says
I kiss TJ's head and he giggles.
"Thank you Momma," Owen says
"Every night baby boy," she says kissing his cheek "did mommy read with you two when I was away?"
"Ya we read 2 books a night!" TJ says
"That was our secret you little monster," I say tickling him and kissing his cheeks
"Do we need more books?" Cher asks
"Ya, and now we read books by ourselves too," Owen says
"Do you want to read to momma and I?" I ask
"Maybe tomorrow night mommy, I'm sleepy,"
"Ok baby boy let's get you two to bed,"
We walk to their room and put them in bed.
"I love you baby boy," I say kissing TJs cheek
"I love you too mommy," he says
"Gimme a kiss?"
He pecks my cheek.
"Sweet dreams buddy,"
Cher and I switch and I go over to Owen.
"Hey little man," I say ruffling his hair "I love you sweet dreams,"
"I love you too mommy,"
He kisses my cheek.
"Good night baby boy,"
"Good night mommy,"
I stand back up and dim their lights.
"I wish we got to do this with the girls," I sigh
"Me too,"
We fall asleep and hope the next test results bring good news
