Wedding

Toni's POV
"Mom was this a good idea?" Madi asks coming out in her dress
Madi and Reggie were in orange and Sweets and Jug were in yellow.
"It's an amazing idea kiddo,"
"I don't think so," she says
"Your mom will be fine,"
My dress is white with the ends dyed red.
"I like your dress," madi says
"Thanks kid,"
The boys come in in their suits followed by FP in his black suit.
"Are you ready?" He asks
"Always," I reply
I walk up the stairs first to the roof that Cheryl decorated. It's beautiful and the sun is just about to set. I get to the front and Cheryl just gets out of the stairway. She has a dress really similar to mine with hints of blue throughout.
Attorney McCoy begins but I don't hear anything- I'm just looking at the beautiful woman in front of me.
"Toni time for your vows,"
"Cher I promised you in junior year that I would protect you, honour you, that I would never lie to you and never leave you that I would never get hurt and I'll always be by your side until the day I die. On our first wedding day, I said whether in a ghoulish nunnery or lost in the woods- I'll be there by your side. After you saved me from the ghoulies I promised no more running no matter the circumstances. These past years have been crazy, but they just confirmed for me more that you are my best friend, my soulmate and the love of my life. I'm so proud of the woman you've become and I can't wait to start the rest of our lives together again, I love you Cheryl," I say with tears in my eyes
Cheryl looks like she's about to cry when Mrs McCoy asks her for her vows.
"We were sitting on the couch a few days ago and I told you I had no clue what to say up here. I still don't because when I look at you there are a million memories that fly through my head. You have always been and will always be the only person in the world that can shut me up. It's been a ride Tones, from junior year, to our first wedding, to everything that led up to now. You make me the best person, and the best mother I can be. We grew up together, you made me feel safe, and loved in a lifetime I thought I would never know the feeling. Thank you for believing in and staying with me in sickness and in health, for always coming back, and for raising 4 beautiful girls and 2 handsome little boys. I don't know why it took me so long to pick your last name because I love you Toni Topaz, forever," she says
"If anyone has any just cause why these two ladies shouldn't be married speak now or forever hold your peace," McCoy says
I hold my breath waiting for something to happen.
"By the power vested in me by the United States Of America, I pronounce you wife and wife, you may kiss your bride,"
I lean in and kiss her, full of love and memories.
"Now may I present for the very first time, Mrs. and Mrs. Topaz,"
I grab her hand and we walk back down the aisle.
"Nice little stunt there Tones, the orange and yellow," she says when we get to the stairwell
"Oh you liked that?" I ask
"We'll talk about this later Mrs. Topaz," she winks
We walk down the stairs into the bar and dance floor area, followed by all the guests.
"You're very beautiful Toni," she says playing with my fingers
"So are you babes," I say kissing her cheek
The girls come over with the boys in their arms.
"They missed you two," madi says
"Thanks Mads," I say
She smiles and walks away. I hold TJ and Cher holds Owen.
"Hey babies," Cheryl says rocking Owen
"You're Mommy is really pretty eh TJ?" I ask seeing him look at Cher "ya I love her buddy,"
"You are a handsome little Topaz," Cher says
"Topaz!" Sweetpea says "we'll take the boys, go dance with your girl," he winks
I give Jughead TJ and Cheryl gives Fangs Owen.
"Red," Sweetpea nods
"Sweetpea," Cheryl smiles
He hugs her and she hugs back
"Thanks for keeping tiny safe all these years," he says
"Thanks for being a great friend, and accepting me when I didn't deserve it,"
"You deserve everything Cheryl," he says "and you got it with Toni,"
Those two bonded over their rough childhoods and Pea really helped Cheryl whenever I was in the hospital. They let go of their hug,
"May I have this dance?" I ask grabbing her hand
"Every time TT," she smiles
I got to pick the song this time.
"I love this song Tones," she says hearing the tune "Amazed by Lonestar no?"
"Yep," I say pulling her closer
"I'm so in love with you," I sing as the lyrics come
"I love you Antoniette Topaz," she says
"I love you Cheryl Majorie Topaz,"
The song finishes and I kiss her again.
"I'll never get tired of dancing with you," she says
"Mhm? We'll test that out tonight," I wink
"For sure Mrs. Topaz,"
The girls come over and hug us.
"Your vows were nice mom," Alex says to me "yours too Cheryl, out of the 7 variations you were saying, the 8th was the best,"
"Was someone nervous?" I tease
"It's not everyday you get to marry your best friend," She retorts
"It's every third year," I joke
She laughs and I give her a side hug.
Marry You by Bruno Mars comes on and I drag Cher on the dance floor.
We sing and dance for the entirety of the song.
"You're crazy," she says
"I know,"
The music cuts and FP has a speech prepared.
"I spoke at their last wedding so, I'm going to let the happy couples oldest daughters take over," he says
"Omg toni did you know about this?" Cheryl asks seeing Mads and Alex grab a microphone
"No I didn't," I say in disbelief
"Hi everyone I'm Alex, Toni and Cheryl's oldest daughter, and this is my twin sister Madi," Alex starts "Mads and I don't come from a great past at all and when we first moved to Riverdale we assumed this town and the family we were adopted by was the same, but we were wrong in every sense,"
"Toni and Cheryl brought us into their home almost  3 years ago now and we saw different parts of their marriage and saw them continue to grow as a couple and as individuals," madi continues
"I think they are some of the best people I've ever met, not only do they try their hardest everyday to make sure we are happy and healthy but both of them have put their lives on the line for us and our little brothers and sisters," Alex smiles at us
"Thank you Cheryl and Toni for everything you've done for us and giving us the best family we could've asked for," Madi continues
"And thank you for  the best years of our lives thus far and many more to come,"
"We love you, even though you forget our birthdays," madi winks at me
Everyone cheers.
"There will be more speeches in a bit but have fun dancing for a bit!" FP says
The girls come over to us and I hug madi as Cheryl hugs Alex.
"That was amazing girls," I say
"Thank you so much," Cheryl says almost crying
"Alex do you see that? We made THE Cheryl Bombshell cry," madi laughs
"Not cry tear up," Cheryl retorts
They laugh and go find Sweetpea and Fangs.
"So Mrs. Topaz, I was thinking about our family honeymoon," I say
"Oh?"
"I was thinking we can take them to universal studios, and to the beaches and everything and then go to a hockey game,"
"I think that's a lovely idea," she smiles
Cheryl's all time favourite song comes on and I grab her hand and sing along

The song ends and another speech comes up.
"Topaz, Red! This is a big day!" Sweetpea says
"You two are literally the hottest, best, most stable couple I've ever seen and I can't believe we get to be at your wedding both times. I've been on both sides now, Toni last wedding and Cheryl obviously today and let me tell you the love you two have goes both ways and you're so similar but also so unique," Fangs says
"Cheers to the newlyweds!" Sweetpea yells
Everyone cheers
"I think the boys are drunk let's go get our boys," Cheryl suggests
I put my hand out and she laughs and takes it.
"You're a charmer Mrs. Topaz," she winks
"Only to you Mrs. Topaz," I say squeezing her hand
"Better be,"
"Boys let me take my boys, so you can get more drunk," I laugh
They hand me both the boys because Cheryl got pulled out on a phone call.
"Let's go boyos," I say going to our table
I sit down and bounce them for a while until TJ point to the dance floor.
"You wanna go dance?" I ask
They can stand now with our help so I bring them out, thank god I have a short dress
I go in my knees and help both of them to their feet.
"You like this song?" I laugh when TJ starts trying to dance
They both laugh and smile while trying to keep their balance with only my hand.
"There's my beautiful bride," Cheryl says coming up behind me
I turn my head and look up at her
"We are dancing," I say
"I can see that," she laughs bending down and helping Owen stand.
A slow song comes on and we pick them up to dance with them TJ points at Cheryl spinning and rocking Owen.
"She's a cutie buddy,"
He points to her again
"Mama,"
"What?" I ask shocked
He points at her again
"Mama,"
"Cher," I say
"What?" She asks kissing Owen on the top of his head
"TJ just said his first word," I half squeal
"OMG," She says
I bounce him and point at her.
"Who's she TJ? Who's that?"
He laughs and points at her again.
"Mama," he babbles again
"That's right TJ," she says with tears in her eyes
She kisses his cheek and then pecks my lips.
"Look at the girls," she says
I see Mads dancing with Sweetpea and Alex with Fangs.
"I know we said they didn't need a father figure but I'm glad they have the boys to be there and a male role model for them," I say
"Me too," she smiles
Owen reaches out and taps my arm and smiles.
"Hey buddy," i say
"Mama," he says looking up at me
"That's right buddy," I say kissing his cheek
He laughs and I kiss Cheryl.
"I love you Cher," I say kissing behind her ear
"I love you too Tones," she smiles
Cher looks like her arms are getting tired.
"Babes give me Owen," I say
"I'm ok Tones,"
"Babe you're looking tired and we have a long night," I say
"Fine," she sighs handing me the baby
"I'm going to go for a walk, She if I can Tire these ones out ok?" I ask
"Ok I love you,"
"I love you to I'll be right back,"
I peck her lips and decide to go outside for some air.
Alone in the woods was almost terrifying but I sigh as I step out anyways. I don't go to far- not even to the parking lot, just show the boys the stars. Just as it gets chilly a car that's all too familiar pulls up. I quickly text Cheryl.
"Veronica Lodge," I say as she steps out of the car
"Toni Topaz,"
"I thought you were missing," I say
"You wish,"
I sigh
"Why are you here Veronica? I just want to have one great night with my wife and kids,"
"I don't know how you did it Toni ," she says "getting Micheal to turn against me,"
"Alexandra did that, you were out smarted by a 15 year old,"
"Hey baby," Cher says from behind me
"Hey," I reply
"Veronica what are you doing here?"
"Congratulating you,  seeing the party," she says
"That's absolute bullshit but cool," Cheryl smirks "Hey Sweetpea?"
Sweetpea and Fangs come from somewhere behind us.
"We have some unwanted guests, can you deal with that so I can go dance with my girl?"
"You got it red," he says
"Cheryl Blossom, you never get any easier," Veronica says shaking her head
"Cheryl Topaz, actually Veronica,"she corrects
She scoffs.
"Want to go dance with your wife TT?" She asks
"Of course babe," I say turning around
"I love you," I say nudging her shoulder
"I love you,"
I give the boys to Betty and Alice so I can dance with Cheryl. I don't wanna miss a thing comes on and she puts her arms on my shoulders and I wrap my arms around her waist.
"You know you're perfect?" I say
"You're pretty perfect yourself," she says
We dance the song through and when it ends cheryl kisses me. She connects our foreheads
"Thank you Toni, for staying with me and for everything,"
"Babe it's been my pleasure," I say kissing her cheek "I love you Cheryl Topaz,"
She smiles
"I love you Toni Topaz,"
She grabs my hand and we go sit down.
"Do you want to talk about blossom empire now?" I ask
"We don't have to Tones, it's not a big deal," she says playing with her fingers
"Cher, don't be nervous. Talk to me,"
"All I have to do is transfer my inheritance, my board seat, the house, and control of the entire company to you, fix the dumb rules and then we can decide to do after that. Transfer ownership both ways or keep it with you, it can't be solely me though because then it's technically a Blossom still," she sighs
"Babe, look at me," I say as she looks at her hands "I know what you're worried about but I'll never leave ok?"
"What? How'd?" She asks
"We share a bathroom Cheryl, the walls are awful thin in our room as well,"
"I wasn't doubting you but this stuff is crazy Toni, I don't want it to get overwhelming,"
"Hey it'll just be in name ok? You still run the company, and what's my money is yours," I say "and it's our house no matter what,"
"Thank you Toni," she smiles "I don't know how you do that every time,"
I kiss her temple.
"Dance with me?" I ask
"Of course Toni," she laughs getting up
I don't know what song is on but we just dance around and have fun.
"Are you having fun Cher?" I ask
"Mhm," she says still dancing
She closes her eyes and sways to the music and I smile.
"Youre a cutie," I say over the music
"Mhm,"
We get tired and go find Betty and Alice to relieve them of the boys. They hand them to us.
"Soooo are they talking yet?" Betty asks
"Both of them said their first word tonight," Cheryl smiles
"Oh thank god," Betty exhales "Owen pointed at Toni and said mama,"
We thank them and go to find the girls.
All four of them are laughing at a table.
"Hey girlies, everyone ok?" I ask
They all nod.
"Good,"
Owen grabs at my hair.
"Ow fuck," I say
"TT calm down," Cheryl laughs
"It just surprised me," I say
"Mama," Owen says looking at me
I laugh and kiss his forhead.
"When did that start?" Madi asks
"Tonight for both of them," Cheryl says rocking TJ
"Our house isn't loud enough already," madi laughs
Cher hands me TJ and goes to dance with the girls.
I watch her, and can't believe she picked me, can't believe she stayed with me. Owen starts getting fussy so I bounce them.
"Boys you have the best mom in the world, Mhm, she's great," I say kissing their cheeks
"You boys are going to love her,"
They both smile.
"Baby!" Cheryl yells "it's our song,"
"We have a lot of songs," I laugh
"Tones I'll take the boys home, Betts just took the girls, we'll be back soon have fun," Jughead says
"Thank you Jughead," I say
He nods and walks away with the boys.
"Now we can have real fun," she says biting her bottom lip
Like I'm going to lose you by Meghan Trainor comes on and we start dancing.
I go behind her and grab her hips. We sway to the music and I kiss her cheek.
"I love you babygirl,"
"I love you too Tones,"
We dance for a few more songs before deciding to get a drink.
"Tequila on the rocks and if memory serves a strawberry daiquiri," she says
"Great memory," I wink
We grab our drinks and sit at the bar to drink them. She leans over and takes a sip of mine.
"Honey, you have your own," I joke
She pouts and I peck her lips.
"I'm just kidding," I say
"I can't believe we are almost 25 and have been married twice," she laughs
"I know it's crazy,"
"I cannot believe we have 6 kids either,"
"Remember when we thought like 2-4 was good?" I laugh
"Oh ya," she sighs "but I can't imagine life without every single one of them,"
"Me too,"
"I love you Toni Topaz," she smile
