Cheryls POV
Toni drives her motorcycle home with me on the back. She seems ok, I havent really been able to see her so there might be injuries I havent seen yet. She parks and we get off the bike.
"What time is it?" She asks
"4 in the morning," I laugh
She laughs and I open the door.
"Um Cheryl, why is there so much blood on those towels?" She asks looking at the towels on the ground.
"Oh Alice must've cleaned up the ghoulie mess," I say
"Mess?"
"He tried to break in when I was cleaning my arrows,"
She laughs.
I hug her and she hugs me back
"I missed you so so much Toni,"
"I missed you too Cher,"
"Are you hurt at all?" I ask scanning her
"No, they only really hit me for a month so all the bruises already healed," She laughs "Can we eat though?"
"OF course,"
I say goodbye to Alice and we go to the kitchen.
"What do you want me to make?" I ask leaning on the counter towards where Toni sat down
"Anything you like," She says pecking my lips
"Grilled Cheese?" I ask knowing its her favourite
She smile and nods. I nod and start making the sandwich.
"So, how have the girls been?" She asks
"Sad, but ok. We looked at pictures a lot, we played outside a lot and they all started school again in September obviously, the older girls love riverdale high and I transferred the young ones back to Riverdale Public School and they like it there."
She nods.
"Yesterday the young ones were really sad that I didnt know if you were coming home for Christmas,"
"Christmas? I thought it was only October?" She says confused
"Oh babe, you didnt know how long you were down there,"
She shakes her head confused and sad
"Babe you've been gone for 5 months," I say grabbing her hand
"5 months? Really?"
"Yes its December, December 6th,"
Tears start falling down her cheeks just as I finish the sandwiches. I sit beside her and rub her back.
"I'm so dumb, why the hell did I do that, what the fuck was I thinking," She whispers through her tears
"TT, you were brave. You saved us, you did it to protect us," I say
She nods and wipes her tears.
"I love you Cheryl,"
"I love you too Toni,"
I kiss her
"I think I missed that most of all," She says kissing me again
"Me too," I laugh
"Do we have any hair die? My pink all fell out," She asks
"Yes we do, let me help you," I say grabbing her hand and going upstairs
we run up stairs and go into the bathroom.
"I like the new paint," She said noticing the pink paint that replaced the old blue.
"Thanks, I did it when I was bored," I laugh
Just like we did as teens, I re apply her hair dye and when I'm finished, its already 7:30.
"It looks amazing cheryl," She says playing with the ends of her hair
"You are my soulmate Toni Topaz Blossom," I say as she turns to face me
"And you are mine Cheryl Topaz Blossom,"
I kiss her tentatively, she pulls away and then hugs me.
"I'm so sorry," She whispers almost crying
Confused I just decide not to push it.
"Its ok babe," I nod
She smirks and starts tickling me. I laugh so loud i dont even hear the girls come in.
"MOM ARE YOU?" MAdi asks before walking in "Ok?"
"Toni?" Alex says in disbelief
"I'm back girls," Toni says hugging the 3 of them
Just as Toni starts talking, Kait walks in.
"Kait?" Toni says confused
"Mom? Why are you back from Montreal? Jughead and Betty need to go to jail for shooting Mommy!"  She says
Toni hugs Kait tightly, almost with tears in her eyes
She whispers something in her ear.
"Mom where did you go?" Madi asks
She looks at me.
"I went to California, had to deal with some... matters," She says
"Mommy said you were in Florida," Tayleigh says confused
"I was supposed to be in Florida but my trip took me elsewhere," she says
"Oh, ok,"
"I'm sorry girls, I should've said a proper goodbye but it was a secret where I went so I wasn't aloud to," Toni says "I couldn't let any of you get hurt,"
The girls nod.
"Girlies, why don't you go down and start breakfast and we will join you in a minute," I say "we have waffle mix still,"
Excitedly they all leave the room and I look at Toni, who's about to breakdown.
"Babe what's wrong?" I ask
She falls into my arms.
"I missed them so much, all of you, and I missed so much of there lives and Kait..." She says trailing off
"Kait," I say trying to start her sentence,
"I tried to escape e times, the first time they beat me, the second time they shanked me and the third time, they put me back in my room calmly, told me they would be back. 12 hours later, they came back, all with blood all over their clothes and a picture of a child who looked like Kait But was too beaten up to differentiate and said if I tried to leave again they would kill you too," She says through her tears "I thought she was dead Cheryl,"
"Babe shes fine, her memory is her memory and its not getting any better but it's also not getting any worse so that's good and she's not dead," I whisper into the hug
"I love you, you know that right? You know I love you always have always will and I would never hurt you?" She asks
"Of course I know that babe," I say wiping her tear "Why do you ask?"
"Because P-Penny kissed me a few times, I don't know why, she just did and I swear I obviously did not kiss her back but I've felt sosososososo guilty about it," She says "I was going to tell you, later, when I made sure you weren't still mad at me and if the papers are already in its fine cher, really,"
At this point I'm very confused.
"Toni, look at me." I say and she raises her head "I love you and I don't care about that ok? I know penny is a little viper bitch. and what paper babe?"
"This," She takes a envelope out of her serpent jacket and hands it to me
I open it at take out divorce papers. Flip through them, they look official, and they're signed by me...
"Toni I swear to god, I dont know what this is, I would never," I say with tears going down my face
I look them over further and see that she signed the bottom as well.
"When did you get these?" I ask
"2 days ago, they said I had been gone for too long, and that you fell in love again, or just fell out of love with me and they intercepted the papers for me," She says "I signed them so I knew if this i what you wanted, you would be happy, I just wanted you to be happy,"
"I'm only happy when I'm with you," I smile
She kisses me.
"Wanna go shred these?" She asks
"OF COURSE!" I yell
I take one more look at the papers and notice a issue.
"Toni this is a photocopy, not the original document," I say as there is a knock on the door
"MOMS!" Madi yells "There is a lawyer at the door for you,"
"Well shit," Toni says
"Maybe its something good for a change Toni," I say wrapping my arms around her waist
"Since when are you an optimist?" She jokes
I laugh.
"MOMS!!" Alex yells
In one motion Toni picks me up and throws me over her shoulder and runs down the stairs.
"That was dangerous," I say as she puts me down
"You love danger," She laughs kissing my cheek
"What can we do for you?" I ask the man at the door
"The papers went through Mrs. Blossom, do you need me to escort Ms. Topaz off the premises?" He says handing me a envelope
"No I'm fine," I say rolling my eyes
"Have a nice day Miss, if you need a protection detail, call the number on the top of the page,"
And he leaves.
"Girls go to the kitchen," Toni says
I open it and it's divorce papers.
"Well we aren't married anymore," I say laughing "Toni why did you agree to these terms?"
She gets literally nothing and gets to see the girls once a year, her and the boys can stay on the property but need to leave Thistlehouse
"I didnt read them, I though it would be fair," She says taking the papers "You were always pretty fair,"
She scans them
"Wow I was wrong, you're a bitch apparently," She says laughing "Absolutely nothing? Reason for Divorce: Neglecting Children, wow cher thats um kinda cruel,"
"You're a baby," I say rolling my eyes
"You're a bitch," she says "Should I go kick the boys out of Thistlehouse?"
I Just laugh.
"Cheryl Blossom, will you make me the happiest person ever and be my girlfriend?" She asks
"Hmm, can I think about it? I need to ask my mom," I joke
She looks almost hurt
"Don't mention her, she'll come back," She jokes
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend Toni Topaz," I say with my hands around her neck
"We should tell the girls," She says
"Ya we should," I agree walking towards the kitchen where all the girls are
"Girls sit down," I say
"OH no that never ends well," Madi says sitting down
"Ya last time we did this Fangs got shot," Alex mutters
"Who shot fangs?" Toni asks looking at me
"Sweetpea, with my arrows, he was fine,"
"Anyways girls, that man just confirmed our divorce,"
Both the older girls move to yell, and the younger ones just look confused.
"Ah-ah-ah, before you yell, its not what it sounds like," Toni says "when I was with the ghoulies they gave me the papers and said Cheryl did love me anymore, and I signed them, we dont know how they got Cheryls signature,"
"So its fake?" MAdi asks
"No its real but wed are getting re married at city hall," I say
"Nonono, we are having a wedding, and I'm proposing," She replies
"Awesome," Alex says
I roll my eyes.
"You proposed last time,"
"Ya well, deal with it," She smiles
"We also want to trick the boys so, Madi call Jughead and say whatever you think will work," Toni says "we will be fake fighting,"
"Ok," Alex and Madi laugh
Madi takes out her phone and calls Jughead. And Toni and I start our fake argument upstairs.
"TONI YOU THINK YOU CAN LEAVE FOR 5 FUCKING MONTHS AND THINK EVERYTHING WOPULD BE THE SAME?"
"CHERYL I DID IT FOR YOU AND THE GIRLS, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT? THATS FUCKING RIDICULOUS,"
We hear the boys walk in and we keep going.
"YOU SIGNED THE PAPERS TONI, ITS OVER, GET OUT,"
"WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GO CHERYL? I'VE LIVED HER SINCE I WAS SIX-FUCKING TEEN,"
We walk downstairs where the boys are with the girls.
"Tiny whats going on?" Fangs asks
"Cheryls a bitch, you were right from the beginning Pea," Toni spits back
"What do you mean? I like red,"
"Ya well she's a bitch,"
"You're the one that signed the papers Toni, I didnt force you to do that. YOU LEFT FOR 6 FUCKING MONTHS, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT TO HAPPEN?"
"Papers?" Jughead asks
MAdi hands him the papers.
"Divorce?" Fangs asks
"Ya I've been back for 2 fucking minutes and apparently the divorce went through,"
« You did sign these toni," Fangs says
"Because the ghoulies had a fucking gun to my head,"
"Antoinette out of this household now," I say calmly
"You're a bitch,"
"Toni! YOU LEFT FOR 5 MONTHS, i didnt know if you were alive, and its over, deal with it,"
"I dont want to deal with it Cheryl,"
"Well you've gotta toni, because i hate you,"
We are now practically touching boobs yelling in eachothers faces when she grabs my face and kisses me. We break apart laughing
"What. The. Hell." Sweetpea says
"What about the paper," jughead asks
"The paper is real but we don't know where it came from, Toni signed it 3 days ago because the ghoulies told her some shit story," I say
"And we don't know when Cheryl signed it," Toni says
"So... youre not getting divorced?"
"We already are divorced but we are dating right now and getting re married soon," Toni says playing with my hand laughing
"You two are weird," Jughead says shaking his head
We just laugh
"Did you know this was a gag?" Fangs asks Madi
"Ya," the girls laugh
"You guys suck," Sweetpea says
"Oh and Fangs?" Toni says
"What?"
"Can I have the serpents back?" She asks hopeful
"Take them, I hate it, not that Pea and Cheryl made it any easier," He says glaring at Cheryl and then Pea "And dont get me started on Jughead,"
"Now, Jughead and Pea I understand, they're a handful literally all the time. But Cheryl, is always a great person to work with," She says hugging me from behind
"Ya fucking right," Fangs laughs "She gave Sweetpea her bow because I was being annoying and let him chase me around for 15 minutes,"
"What?" She asks me
"He was being annoying and I had a headache,"
"I got shot!" Fangs says
"You deserved it," I say rolling my eyes
We laugh into the afternoon, plan a serpent meeting announcing tt's return and I hold her hand all day- because she's HOME. But I still haven't told her...
