2 weeks later
Cheryls POV

"Cheryl we are partying tonight because one of us will not be able to drink for 9 months and I want a night with my wife," Toni declares walking into the bedroom after her shower
"Jheez ok all you had to do was ask," I say playfully while taking out my braids from the night before
"You look sexy with your hair so curly babe," She teases straddling me
"Oh is that right Topaz?" I say with a smirk "then maybe, just maybe I'll straighten it because you have not been in bed at a decent hour in weeks,"
"I have a bed time now?" She asks pouting
"No, but I want to cuddle with my wife at least... I dont know once a week?"
"Oh poor baby," She pouts mockingly
I fake leaning in for a kiss before pulling away and maneuvering out from underneath her and going to get dressed
"You're slick blossom,"
I get dressed in a red and black leather outfit- complete with my serpent jacket and went downstairs to leaning on the counter on her elbows playing on her phone.
"Where are the girls?" I ask hugging her from behind
"The small ones are outside playing, the bigger ones are watching TV," She replies
"You know, the smaller ones birthdays are next week," I say leaning my back against the counter "
"Oh but I have been working on their birthday for the last couple weeks after my bedtime," She teases
"What? Tones you didn't tell me that,"
"You just started being mayor so Me, Pea and Fangs have been Skyping and planning a small get together.
"Why do I have the best wife in the world,"
"I'm not sure but I want to know where my incredibly sexy wife got that hot outfit," She flirts leaning against me so I have to jump on the counter and wrap my legs around her waist
"I love you Toni,"
"I love you too Cheryl,"
She smiles and kisses my cheek
"You know I missed your smile so goddamn much Tones,"
She just looks at her feet and blushes.
"Almost 6 years together and I can still make you blush Topaz," I flirt lifting her chin
"Oh Bombshell you'll never stop making me blush," She says pecking my lips
The older set of twins comes into the kitchen with serious faces and sit down.
"Moms we need to talk," Madi starts
"What about sweetie?" I ask getting off the counter and wrapping my arms around Toni's waist from behind.
"You two," Alex says
"What did we do?" Toni asks "Cheryl did you do something?"
"She said two you idiot, if we did something you would know," I say laughing and rolling my eyes
"This is what we're talking about, you two are always calling each other names or raising your voices. Cheryl is always complaining about Toni on her motorcycle or with the serpents, and Toni is always complaining about Cheryls attitude,"
"You can tell us if you're actually getting divorced or not but we just want to know," Madi says crossing hr arms across her chest
Tay told us that last night. And I didn't understand. But Toni explained it to me. The kids, especially Alex, Madi, and Tayleigh, met us at a point in our lives that was stressful, and a point we weren't ourselves or the couple our friends know. Now that we are getting back to normal, joking around more, their past might be triggering memories or something assuming what we are saying isn't a joke. She talked to the girls therapist and the therapist believes this might be right, especially in the oldest girls case.
"Girls, when we adopted you we were under tons of stress with KT and Veronica and we weren't 100% ourselves, maybe us as individuals were who we are but us as a couple we are different than what you've seen. When we were kids we met eachother at a point in our lives that we were both very broken. And making each other laugh and challenging each other through confrontation is really what built our relationship. I guess you girls really never got to see that. We tease eachother because its fun. I tease Cher because I know she laughs and remembers when we first started dating when I start taunting and teasing her because thats really how we started," Toni explains
The girls are puzzled as I start talking.
"Girls I'm really sorry we mad you feel like we have actually been angry with each other but I promise you, we are not getting divorced and we rarely ever get mad at one another."
"Even about the motorcycle?" Alex asks
"That godforsaken death mobile has been apart of my life for about 6 years now, and it worries me every time Toni gets on it because if she isn't with you guys she isn't the safest driver and I dont want her getting hurt," I explain
"Ok?" Madi says looking at Alex
"Ok," Alex sighs "But would you tell us if something was happening?"
"I promise if something ever happens, we will tell you,"
"Now go find your sisters ok?" I say laughing
"Ok," They say going to the back porch
Toni and I start laughing.
"Can I be 100% honest with you Cher?" Toni asks after our laughing fit
"OF course T,"
"When we started dating, I wasn't 100% sure we were going to last,"
"Really?" I say half shocked "And why was that?"
"It wasn't that I didnt want us to last. I genuinely believed from like our 3rd encounter on that you were the love of my life but I thought you would leave me eventually you know, for someone better,"
"You don't think that anymore right?"
"Oh no, not at all, the doubts went away maybe I don't know right after our first adoption maybe the second," She says sarcastically,
"Tones I'm serious." I say
"Sorry, but of course I dont feel that way Cheryl, were soulmates,"
"I dont think you've ever used that word Toni," I smile "I like it,"
"Well I'll say it over and over again CHeryl, because its true, we are soulmates,"
"Just know, there is no one better than you Topaz, because you're perfect,"
"I love you Cheryl,"
"I love you too Toni,"
We make plans to go to the white Wyrme tonight for drinks and dancing.
We get ready around 7 and when Alice (who agreed to pick the girls up and let them sleepover) showed up around 7:30 we left.
"Do you want to take the godforsaken death mobile?" Toni asks
"Uh lets just use the car because I don't want to drive a motorcycle with drunk you on the back," I reply
"Ok true, but aren't you drinking?" She asks confused
"Maybe a little, I'm not sure yet,"
I have never been a heavy drinker but Toni thinks she can out drink Sweetpea so she always has been a big drinker.
"Awe you're a buzzkill," She pouts
"I promise I'll have a good time Toni, I just dont enjoy hangovers as much as you," I joke

3 hours later

About half way into our wild night, they finally open up the dance floor. I had enough to drink that I'm a little tipsy but should sober up before the end of the night. Toni on the other hand was already hammered. I let her have her fun because admittedly I didn't want to get pregnant, I wanted Toni to get pregnant mostly because I was scared of what my DNA held, not that her family was perfect but my family is worse. After taking shots with Fangs and Pea, Toni stumbles over to where I was at the bar.
"Heyyy Babygirl," She slurs
"Hey TT,"
"Wanna dance with your hot wife?" She asks
"I would love to," I laugh grabbing her hand and following her to the dance floor
We jump and dance and party for a few hours. Acting like teenagers again was pretty fun and relaxing.
"You know you're like super hot right?" She flirts grabbing my ass
"Oh I've been told multiple times tonight," I reply "But my wife is hotter than me,"
"Oh and I'm your wife," She points out
"Nice one Sherlock," I laugh kissing her neck
"Who's Sherlock? My name's Toni," She asks genuinely confused
"OH you are cute when you're drunk Mrs. Topaz," I FLirt
We grind on the dance floor for a bit longer before I decide its time for us to leave. There was a breathalyzer test that the bar put in a few months ago so I do that and I am sober enough to drive so I grab my keys that Toni gave to FP and help her to the car. We end up making out against the door of the car.
"TT we have to go home," I whisper
She stops attacking my neck and opens the door to go in. We make it home, and Head to the bedroom and decide to sleep in our bras and panties

I wake up to the feeling of Toni's lips on my cheek.
"Good morning Princess," I hear her say as I open my eyes
"Good morning ma cherie," I reply
"What even happened last night?" She asks

Flashback to the night before

We first got there and Toni bought me a drink.
"How long has it been since we got to drink?" She sighs sitting on the stool beside mine
"A long time,"  I say sipping the vodka fruity drink thing she got me
"I love you Cheryl Majorie Blossom,"
"I love you too Antoniette Topaz," 
We kiss and Toni goes to a drinking competition against Sweetpea

"You know why I fucking love you Cheryl?"
"Why, Toni?" I ask laughing her drunk self
"Because you're perfect, so goddamn perfect it almost hurts looking at you, I love you so much, your personality, your hair, your laugh, your- your ass. Everything about you is absolutely fucking perfect, your too good for me,"
"Oh thats not true my love, you are perfect,"
"And I love that you're a great liar," She says 'bopping' my nose
"You're cute TT," I say kissing her "But you taste like cheap beer,"
"Oh I'm not cheap sweetie," she flirts
"Oh I know Tones, I've lived with you since sophomore year,"
She laughs before heading out to drink more with Sweetpea

End of flashback

"Well you told me how perfect I was and how I was lying when I said you were perfect too, and then we danced like we were teenagers again so it was fun and you were beyond sexy." I say
"Ya?" She says
"Ya,"
She flips over me that she was straddling me. She starts kissing my neck and finds the sweet spot behind my ear
"There are no kids in the house," She whispers
"Mm hm," I moan
I hear the front door open and Tayleigh and Kait giggling.
"Ugh," Toni groans flopping beside me in bed
"Let's get up and get dressed,"
"Ya I guess,"
And we get ready for our big announcement that we plan to make later that day.
