"I win!" James calls out as he throws his hands up in victory.
"I only let you win." I said as I rested my chin in my hand as I rolled my eyes at James child like manner.
"y/n, you're just jealous I can easily win this game." James cockly said which caused me to take the pillow I was sitting on and throw it at him.
"Omph!" He mumbles out as it collides with his face.
I start to laugh uncontrollably at his facial expression of shock. He was about to say something when there was a knock on the door.
"I got it!" I said as I quickly got up and went for the door.
I turn the door knob to see a breathless Sirius at the door, which confused me. "Sirius? What are you doing here?" I said as I examined him from head to toe. Then, that's when I notice hchaptersis belongings behind him.
"I ran away." He mumbles as he looks to the floor.
"Sweet gods," I whispered as I pulled him inside along with his things.
"James, get your mother!" I yelled out as I had Sirius sit down in the half living room in the front by the door.
Hurried footsteps are heard as they make their way towards where Sirius and I are.
"Sirius, honey, what happened?" Euphemia asked as she crouched down in front of him, examining him with worried eyes.
He stays silent as he looks down at his lap. I take a seat next to him and take his hand in mine to let him know he's going to okay.
He looks up at me and that's when I notice the gloss look over his eyes. I give him a small nod as I hold tighter his hand.
"I got tired of my parent's beatings. So I did what I thought best --- run away." He said as ran a hand through his hair.
"Oh love," Euphemia said as she sat down next to Sirius pulling him into her for a hug. "You're welcome to stay here." She said as she kissed the top of his head.
"Sirius, how are you going to support yourself without money?" James asked as he pushed his glasses up.
"I have a plan with that --- I'm going to ask my Uncle Alphard for it." Sirius said as nodded along lightly to what he said.
"Well, as long as you are safe, happy, and financially supported is all that matters." Euphemia said as he ruanffled up Sirius's hair as she got up and made her way to the kitchen. "I'll go and make pumpkin pasties."
The three of us nod in agreement as she walks off into the kitchen.
"Sirius. I'm. . .I'm sorry for what happened to you." I said as I looked down to my lap as a small tear escapes my eye.
Sirius takes his hand and raises my head up and face him. "You don't need to feel sorry for me. What is done is done, love." Sirius said as he lightly rubbed my cheek with his hand.
Before I could reply he leans in and kisses me fully on the lips. This takes me by surprise but nonetheless, I kiss him back. A cough interrupts us, which causes us to look at the leading source of sound.
"Hate to interrupt," James said as hwase crossed his arms. "But I really didnt wish to witness that first hand." James said as he started to walk off into the other hallway.
Then he pops his head out and points into the air. "And if the two of you are going to have sex, I don't wish to hear your screams y/n.", And with that he finally leaves, leaving me blushing badly and Sirius smirking.
"Guess I'll be seeing you a lot more love." He said as he pecked my cheek.
"I believe so, Black." I said as I pulled a piece of hair behind my ear with a huge smile on my face.
