"How many times do I have to remind you, child, you can not go around acting this way when you know you're not like this!?" Snape yells out as his hand slams the table.
Leah Snape, his only daughter, rolls her eyes at him as she crosses her arms over her chest and leans back in her seat.
"Don't roll your eyes!" He says as he looks at her with a pinning look.
"You do things to gain respect, father. As to what I do is so no one messes with me." Leach says to her father in a matter-of-fact way.
"Watch your tone, Leah ---" he says as he points a finger at her before sighing out. "Leah, you need to embrace who you truly are," Snape says as he reaches forward and gently grazes his knuckles on Leah's face.
At this, Leah's facade falls as she looks at her father. "I know, dad, I know," she sighs out.
"Alright darling, just --- just be yourself." He says as he sends her a small smile.
She sends him a small smile as well as she got up and went towards the classroom's door. "See you later," Leah says as she sends him one last smile.
As Leah walked down the halls she couldn't help but think what her father said. He was right, she had a whole facade up so no one could mess with her, but it does get tiring. And as soon as she got into her common room, all those thoughts left her mind.
Draco Malfoy, the one person she couldn't stand to be around yet felt some type of comfort when he's around.
"Well look who decided to waltz in here," Draco says as he opens his arms wide as he sits on the couch.
Rolling her eyes, she continues to walk towards the stairs to the dormitory.
"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Draco taunts as he gets up from his spot on his couch and follows Leah.
"Suck on some hippogriff's dick Malfoy," She says as she raises her hand and flicks him off.
Draco laughs to himself as he watches Leah walks into the girl's dormitory door.

Days have passed and Leah saw herself sitting at one of the many tables at the Yule Ball.
"You should be out there having some fun Leah," Blaise said as he joined Leah's side.
"Say's the one taking a seat next to me," Leah laughs out lightly as she sends Blaise a playful look.
"You look stunning by the way," Blaise says as he takes a sip from his drink in his hand.
Leah looks down at the dress she wore. The green emerald green color, glistening to the many twinkling lights provided around the Great Hall. A small smile grows on her face as she looks towards Blaise. "Thank you,"
Then with a blink of an eye, Draco appears in front of them.
"Malfoy,"
"Snape,"
"Can I help you?" Leah asks as he looks at Draco with a confused look.
Rolling his eyes, Draco extends his hand out and looks to his side. "Can I have a dance with you?"
Leah felt her heart stop for a moment as she took hold of Draco's hand which surprised both of them. They both made their way to the dance floor silently. Draco soon pulls her into him as he started to sway side to side with her.
"Why are you doing this Malfoy?" Leah whispers as she leans her head on his chest.
"Can I not have a dance with you?" He says as he pulls away slightly and looks at her with a questionable look.
Leah looks at him with wonder in her eyes as a small smile danced on her lips. She shakes her head lightly as she rests her head on his chest again as they continued to dance. "No, not at all."
As they continued to dance through the night, they both couldn't help but feel as if something between them bloomed.
"Uh --- Leah, could I ask you a question?" Draco says as he stops dancing and looks at Leah with frowned eyebrows.
Leah takes her head off of Draco's and looks at him with a confused look. "What's wrong?"
Draco looks down to his feet slightly as he stalls to ask the question he's been wanting to tell her for a while now. "Do --- do you want to go out with me?" He says as he gazed down at her eyes, his look laced with uncertainty and hope at the same time.
Leah felt her eyes get wide as she looks at him. "Are --- are you serious?"
Draco nods his head. "Y-yes."
A huge smile grows on her face as she looks at Draco. She then pulls him into an embrace which shocks him but he wraps his arms around her waist.
Leah pulls away and looks at him with a huge smile and a small sparkle in her eye. "Yes Draco," She whispers out.
A smile starts to grow on Draco's face as he looks down at her. He places both of his hands on each side of his face before he leans down and kisses her.
Leah smiles into the kiss and in that moment she knew that this was the happiest day of her life.
