"So. What are we doing on our first day in Tahoe?" You asked excitedly as you both walked around, wearing a simple sundress.

He grabbed your hand and ran, pulling you towards the lake, until he stopped right in front of a gorgeous wooden kayak filled with wine and snacks. "Oh, my God, Stefan," you chuckled. "This is amazing. How did you even—?" "Don't even think about it, honey, let's just enjoy our honeymoon. We're vampires; we have a whole eternity of this ahead of us," Stefan sighed blissfully as he politely helped you on, sitting beside you as he slowly began rowing.
For a vampire, it didn't take much effort. "You're such a romantic, Stefan Salvatore," you chuckled. "Well, excuse me for wanting every moment of our lives together to be a perfect Kodak moment, my beloved (Y/F/N) Salvatore," he replied as he stopped out in the middle of the lake, where there was no one, allowing the both of you to enjoy the mountain view. "Everything about this is beautiful, Stefan. I mean it; I couldn't be happier. I love you," you smiled. "I love you, (Y/N)," Stefan nodded as he kissed you.
You then grabbed the bottle of wine, popping the cork with your bare hands, pouring some of the liquid into the two glasses he had prepared. You chuckled as you two clinked glasses. "To us.... and to eternity," Stefan Salvatore toasted. "To our beautiful eternity," you agreed as you both drank. "Sweet," you noticed,"Just like you." Stefan smiled. "You know, after everything we've had to go through together, I'm glad we finally got our happy ending. I'm glad we can spend the rest of our lives together and happy."

We have each other, and forever. Nothing can ruin that. I meant those vows, more than anyone could ever know," you agreed. "(Y/N)," Stefan smiled as he looked out onto the water. "Marrying you was one of the smartest things I ever did."
