Imagine being alone on Christmas and working a slow shift at a bar and Katherine showing up to keep you company.

  "Hey there, (Y/N)," an effortlessly seductive voice greeted you.
"Katherine. Hey. What are you doing here? This doesn't seem like your type of place," you noticed.
"You're tending the bar. That's when it became my type of place," Katherine smiled.

"Ah," you nodded. "You're here for me. I appreciate that; it's been a pretty slow shift."
"Please," your unofficial girlfriend scoffed. "It's three in the afternoon."
"Exactly!" You pointed out.
"All the fun people are already drinking by now!" she pointed out.
"Fun people, or alcoholics?" You smirked, pouring yourself a soda. "Want anything?"
"Martini, please. And I like it dirty," she whispered seductively.

"Your wish is my command."

You made the drink quickly, handing to her. She sipped it slowly, eyes trained on you.
"What?"
"Nothing," Katherine Pierce shrugged nonchalantly. "I just have hottest (girlfriend/boyfriend) ever."

You looked up at her in total surprise, and delight. You really did have feelings for Katherine. You weren't sure if she didn't reciprocate, or if she just didn't know how or when to tell you so. But now you did, and it felt amazing.
  "(Girlfriend/boyfriend)?" You asked.
  "Mmhmm."
  "Well, about damn time. I have the hottest, most bad ass girlfriend ever," you smiled, sipping your soda.
  "Tonight, I wanna take you out on the best date ever, if you'll let me," Katherine announced.

  "Any date with you is the best day ever. Why would I ever pass on that?" you grinned.
  "Hey, I was thinking the same thing about you," she agreed.  
  "It's pretty empty in here. What do you say we hit the closet in the back, and these assholes could figure this sh*t out for themselves?" You suggested.
  "I'd say you were onto something," Katherine decided, grinning and hopping up in a heartbeat as you led the way.
