Imagine waking up to Elijah watching you sleep.

You were very tired last night when you fell asleep; you slept heavily and didn't wake until a bit later than usual. You smiled, having woken up to your husband Elijah, gazing at you lovingly and playing with your hair. You giggled softly as he smiled at you, fascinated, as if you were a piece of art. One of his warm hands rested on your shoulder beneath the covers on your bed, and the other gently ran over your hair, which lay falling over your cheek.
  "Sleeping Beauty has arisen," Elijah smiled.

  "Hi," you murmured in a sultry sleepy voice. I love your morning voice."
  "And I love the way you look when you sleep. You always look so peaceful," Elijah Mikaelson smiled fondly.
  "I love hearing you talk," you groaned, closing your eyes once again. "Keep talking."
  "Well, luckily I'm with the only person I could talk about for hours on end," Elijah nodded, kissing your cheek lightly.

"I love waking up next to you. I love the way the sun shines onto your skin. I love feeling the warmth of your body. I love seeing you in what you wear to bed, which, half the time, is nothing. I love hearing you mumble my name in your sleep. I love holding you when it gets cold, or when you have nightmares. I love listening to the rhythm of your breathing. I love the adorable faces you make when I touch you. I love kissing your forehead. I love the natural smell of your skin. I love when you move closer to me in your sleep. I love you, and I am obsessed with you," Elijah whispered as you fell back asleep.
