Twenty-Eight

June 30th

Bailey:
-Hey, do you guys want to hang out today and invite a few more people?

Brent:
-wdym

Bailey:
-Well Dani was wanting to hang out with us, but some of his friends wanted to hang with him

-so do you want to have like a big group and all of us hang out

Brent:
-I'm down. Jack will come too

Megan:
-Let's do it. I'm tired of you losers

Alexa:
-Yeah, we can all chill at my house. We have a pool so tell everyone to bring a swimsuit

Bailey:
-Sounds good, see y'all in an hour

I got up off the couch and started making sure I had enough stuff to supply everybody. Dad was on a trip for work and he took Roxy, and Cooper was at the groomers. I checked the pantry and realized that we would need more snacks, so i decided to stop at the store since i had to pick up Coop anyways. I grabbed my keys off the counter, along with my bag, and headed out towards my car.

I walked out of the store with thirty bags full of snacks and things for supper for the next few days. I piled everything into my car and headed back home. Everyone was supposed to be there in fifteen minutes and I still had to put everything away.

Brent and Megan walked in carrying a bag full of towels and stuff for the pool.

Bailey followed, carrying some bags of what looked like drinks and food. "Daniel, Jonah, and Zach will be here in a few minutes," she said, setting the bags down beside the couch.

"Jack will be here in a few too. He just got off work so he had to go home and shower before he came."

"Okay, sounds good." I picked up the bags and helped take everything into the kitchen. The girls went upstairs to change into their swim suits and i stayed down helping Brent.

There was a knock at the door, followed by boys' voices. "Come in!" I yelled.

The door opened and Daniel walked in, followed by Zach, Jonah, and Jack. "Hi," Daniel said. "Is there somewhere we can change?"

"Yeah, upstairs is a bathroom and a guest room, first door on the right. And there is another bathroom down the hall to the left," I explained, pointing towards the bathroom.

"Okay, thanks."

The boys scattered and I went upstairs to my room. Bailey and Megan were standing in front of my mirror, taking selfies.

"The boys' are here," I informed them, pulling a swim suit out of my dresser drawer. I went into the bathroom and changed, letting my hair down out of it's bun and brushing it out.

I ran downstairs and saw everyone standing around, waiting.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get this thing started!"

"I'm starving," Bailey said, swimming up to where i was sitting with my feet in the water.
