July 10th

I woke up to my phone ringing. I picked it up and unplugged the charger, not even bothering to look at the caller id before answering. "Hello?"

"Hey babe. Listen, I have something planned for tonight, so clear any plans you have and I'm coming to pick you up at two," Dylan said.

"Okay." I yawned before continuing. "I'll be ready."

"Okay, I'll see you later. Love you, bye."

"Love you too." I hung up the phone and looked over at my alarm clock. It read 10:52 A.M, so i decided to get up and start getting ready for the day.

I went downstairs and grabbed a cup of plain yogurt and cut some fruit up. I mixed the two together and went back upstairs to my room. My phone started ringing again when I opened my drawer to take my pencils out. "Hello?"

"Hey sweetie," dad greeted. "I got off early so i was just letting you know that I'm on the way home."

"Okay, sounds good."

"Okay. Do you want me to stop and get you anything to eat while I'm out?"

"No, i already ate and Dylan is taking me out later." I held my phone between my ear and shoulder as i started opening drawers, trying to find my sketch book. "Where is it?" I thought.

"Okay, I'll see you when i get home then. I love you."

"Love you too dad."

He hung up and i continued looking for my sketch book. "I know it's here somewhere," I muttered. Panic started to slowly creep into me as i realized that it wasn't in any drawers in my desk. "Maybe it's still in my backpack from the other day." I stood up and grabbed my backpack out of my closet. I started pulling things out, only to realize it wasn't in there.

I jogged back over to my desk and picked up my phone, calling Megan. "Have you seen my sketchbook?" I asked, not even giving her a chance to say hello.

"It was on your bed last time i saw it," she answered. "Why?"

"I can't find it anywhere." I walked over to my bed and started going trough the blankets. I looked under the bed and moved a few pairs of shoes before seeing it laying there. "Oh thank God," I sighed, pulling it out and sitting down.

"Find it?"

"Yeah, it was under my bed."

"How did it get there?"

"No idea." I stood up and placed the book back into its normal drawer, no longer feeling the need to draw.

After talking to Megan for a few more minutes i decided to go on a run. I pulled a pair of shorts out of one of my drawers, as well as a sports bra. After changing and putting my hair up into a high ponytail, i put my tennis shoes on and headed out the door.

-

I pulled my ear buds out of my ears as i walked up the front steps. Dad's car was in the driveway, so he was already home. I walked in and went straight into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge, as well as a granola bar. I heard one of the showers on, so i assumed that dad hadn't beat me home by too much. I jogged upstairs and went into my bathroom, immediately turning on the shower.

-

I stood in front of my closet looking at everything i had to wear. I eventually decided on a yellow top, some black jeans, and my white high-top vans. Dylan was supposed to be here in ten minutes, so i quickly changed and brushed my hair out.

Dylan:
-Here :)

I grabbed my things and headed downstairs. I told dad bye before leaving and heading out to Dylan's car.

-

I locked the door behind me and walked into the living room.

"Have fun?" dad asked. He was sitting on the couch watching some sport game.

"Yeah. We went out to eat and then went skating."

"Well I'm glad you had a good time. There is still some dinner in the kitchen if you're still hungry. I don't know how long it's been since you last ate so i didn't know if you would want any before i put it up."

"I haven't eaten any since three thirty and its almost eight now, so i think I'll take you up on that offer." I went into the kitchen and made me a plate before going up to my room. I sat down and pulled my sketchbook out. I started flipping to the next blank page when something caught my eye. There was a note on the back of one of my drawings of Corbyn.

that was close. Be lucky he doesn't like you, trust me.
