Zach's Pov

Oh no no no. How much did he hear? We are now sitting on the bed after that awkward run in.

"Zach," he starts.

"Um."

"What did you mean by that?" He asks sadly.

"Corbyn, I love you. I really do. It's just," I let out a sigh. "I miss my work. I miss everyone. I've gotten beat up four times for being your boyfriend. I'm getting clout from being your boyfriend."

"I'm sorry, Zach." He says.

"I felt so bad. I didn't want to tell you cause you'd feel terrible."

"I heard you say that you made a bad mistake."

Of course that's what he hears.

"Corbyn, I-I it's that I-i-" I cut myself off.

I don't have a good reason to back that up. I didn't make a bad mistake but I didn't make a good decision.

"Zach, do you want to stay with me?"

"Corbyn, I-I think we should spend some time apart." I say sadly.

"Babe, please don't leave me. Please, what can I do to change this?" He asks starting to cry.

"I-I-need to take a break from everything. Please, it's not you. Trust me. We aren't broken up, we just need time away from each other," I explain standing up grabbing my backpack.

"Zach, do you need a plane ticket?" He asks softly.

"No, I already have one," I whisper.

"Okay. I'll have Logan take you to the airport," he whispers sadly.

"This is not goodbye, Corbyn. It's a see you later," I state.

"See you later," Corbyn says. "Can we have a goodbye hug and kiss?"

"Um sure," I say sitting my bag down.

I walk to him and he grabs my hips and spins me and lays me on the bed. He hovers over me.

"I love you," he says kissing my lips softly.

"I love you, too," I say releasing the kiss.

"I'm going to miss you," he says.

"See you later Corbyn," I say getting up.

"See you later," he says laying back on the bed.

I walk out to the hall and see Logan. We walk in silence to the Uber and stayed silent the entire drive. We get out and walk in.

"Please, um be careful." He says patting my back and leaving.

"I will," I whisper as I walk to my gate.

A couple hours later:

I'm finally back in Dallas. I ordered an Uber and had it go to my house. I walk into my house and head up to my room. I see Reese in my room.
