~Athena~

The pain merely subsided as time passed. I looked over at the rest of the group who were just getting up. Romelle rested up against the wall while Allura supported Lance back to his feet, supporting his back to sit up. Coran and Hunk also sat up from the ground, still trying to recover from Shiro's powerful blow. I felt especially bad for Coran who basically got crushed by the big guy.

"Lance, Hunk, can you still pilot your Lions?" Keith's voice was heard over comms to break the silence that filled the room.

"Yeah, I'll manage," Hunk grunted as he slowly got up from the ground.

"We've got this," Lance smirks as he too did the same. "We're going to need you too, Allura." Allura looked surprised for a moment, staring at Lance in bewilderment. Suddenly, her expression changed with shame and guilt all over.

"This all happened because of me," she mutters under her breath as her eyes were filled with sorrow. "I shouldn't have let Lotor have his way and use us as his pawns."

"It's not your fault, Allura," Lance softly replied as he looked at the princess. "We didn't know either. Lotor fooled all of us so don't beat yourself up." Lance was right. Allura shouldn't be the one blaming herself for letting Lotor have his way. If anything, it should be my fault for not warning them and letting them know that Lotor was up to something.

"He's right, don't put the blame on yourself," I spoke as I struggled to get up on my feet. "I should have told all of you that working with Lotor would be a bad idea in the first place." Everyone's eyes turned to me, making me feel the pressure. I inhaled deeply before spilling the truth. "I knew that he was up to no good, but I had no proof. All I had was my own intuition because he lied to me. Even if I had said something, Voltron would have already been working with Lotor. But if you had anyone to blame, it would be me."

The room fell silent after my confession. I felt uncomfortable having to tell them the truth, but it was better this way. I felt more relieved to let them know that this was all my doing. "This is nobody's fault. If anyone else wants to argue and point fingers, let's do it later. Right now, we need Voltron to fight Lotor's ships," Coran speaks up.

"But Shiro's gone; who's going to pilot the Black Lion?" I hear Pidge ask from the other end.

"I will," Keith replied.

The Paladins in the room exchanged glances, surprised to the fact that Keith was willing to pilot the Black Lion once more. With no objections, the Paladins got ready to get to their lions. I knew that I had to do my part, and this time, I wasn't going to let the team down.

I ran down the hallway to get back to the pod bay and get to my Lion. As soon as I was quickly approaching, the White Lion activated and roared. I couldn't help but smirk, seeing that the White Lion was ready to fight.

I got inside of the White Lion's cockpit and jumped into my seat. The lion roars once more as I piloted us out of the bay and into outer space where I saw that the Voltron Lions are already on a pursuit to the Sincline ships. I pushed the levers forward, increasing my speed to catch up with them.

"Athalia? What are you doing here?" Pidge asked through the communicator.

"I'm here to help. You might want an extra hand dealing with these ships. They're not your typical ships, and they're not like the Voltron Lions. They are just as powerful, if not more even if we have the numbers," I replied as I finally caught up to the rest of the team. "And you can call me Athena from now on."

"What, really?" Hunk questioned. "Do you finally remember everything? Like, one-hundred percent everything?"

"Let's just say I got those back and more," I replied.
