Dave's Pov-

I pushed my phone onto the bedside table. Did the conversation just happen or am I dreaming. I looked over at my phone. Nope. It happened. That was real. I sighed. So, Karkat blamed himself for having to leave. Wow. And I was worried that he hated me. I didn't know that he had all these thoughts going on. And I was worried about myself. Man, I'm self-centered. I looked next to me. John had fallen asleep after he got out of the shower. I laid back in the bed. I turned so I could wrap my arms around John's waist. I laid my head above his. His hair smelled like winter mist. I used to hate this smell as a child but on John it was inviting. I relaxed into him and quickly fell asleep.

John's Pov-

I woke up with Dave's arm around my waist. I sighed in relaxation. Dave might not say it but he really did like to cuddle. I turned around so I could face him. I looked at his face. His mouth was slightly opened, his brows were furrowed slightly. He looked pretty cute. I kissed his nose quickly. I scooted out of his grip and crawled out of the bed. I stretched. Jade has been gone for some time. Maybe she left us here so we could be alone. I bet she knew something that we didn't. She did have a way of knowing things that were going to happen before they did. She was probably giving us time to do some stuff. But I knew Dave wasn't like that. He wouldn't do that unless we were both ready. I knew that he didn't want to push me into anything. I sighed. I still remembered when we woke up on his roof. He had that awkward boner. I really wanted to see it. I sighed again. Maybe when he wakes up I can ask him to show me.
