"babe, you ready to go?" your boyfriend, daniel, asked.
"yeah, i'm coming!" you slipped on your vans and hurried out to the living room. daniel grabbed your hand and you walked out to his car.
he drove to the outdoor mall near your apartment and found a parking spot. you walked around going into different stores and looking for clothes.
"i'm going to try these on, okay?" you said, holding up a few hangers.
"okay, i'll be over here." you pecked his lips and went to the dressing rooms.
you tried on the tops and bottoms that you had picked out and took some pictures to send to your friends for their opinions. you looked over them all and chose your favorites, getting ready to leave the dressing room.
you hung up what you didn't want, then started looking around for daniel. you looked all around the store, but couldn't find him. you called his phone, but got no answer.
you went outside and looked around, then went back in to try to find him. your heartbeat started speeding up and you started feeling scared.
you started breathing heavily, not knowing what to do. you couldn't believe you lost him, how does that even happen?
then you felt two hands grab your shoulders and shake you. you screamed, then instantly covered your mouth. you saw daniel behind you and slapped his shoulder.
"daniel james seavey you scared the shit out of me!" you exclaimed, hitting his shoulder again. he just laughed at you.
"why did you do that?" you asked. he grabbed your shoulders and pulled you into a hug.
"i'm sorry, that was just so funny oh my gosh." he laughed into your shoulder.
"you're so annoying." you pushed him off of you. "i almost had a panic attack."
"i'm sorry love, i was here the whole time." he brought you into his chest again.
"whatever. i'll get you back." you shook your head.
"mhm." daniel wrapped his arm around your shoulders as you walked to the front desk to pay for your items.
you walked out of the store and continued shopping. the went through multiple stores buying a bunch of stuff that you didn't need, but you had a boyfriend who spoiled you.
throughout the whole day, you and daniel chased each other around stores trying to scare each other. you ended up playing hide and seek in one of the bigger department stores.
daniel was trying to find you, so you went and hid in the very back corner, in one of the clothes racks.
you waited on your phone for a while, but then you heard footsteps. you peeled out and saw daniel's shoes getting close. you decided that you didn't care if he saw you, you were gonna scare the shit out of him.
you waited for him to get closer, then jumped out and grabbed his leg. he screamed so loud and fell to the ground, making you burst out laughing.
you held your stomach as you laughed, having trouble breathing.
"oh my god y/n!" daniel yelled. he sat up and held his chest.
"i got you so good." you laughed even harder.
daniel got up and stood over you. he grabbed your hands and stood you up, pulling you up against his chest.
"you think you're funny huh?" he asked.
"i thought it was pretty hilarious, i mean you looked like you were about to cry." you shrugged and laughed.
"you're gonna regret that when we get home y/n," he whispered seductively. you chuckled.
"i don't think i'm gonna regret anything at all," you whispered, nibbling on his ear. you kissed his cheek and then his lips, hitting his bottom lip.
"that's it. we're leaving now." daniel took your wrist and walked you out to the car.
he put his hand on your thigh as he drove home and you laced your fingers with his.
"i love you, you know that?" he asked.
"i know love."
"good. all the scaring was just messing around."
"i know." you smiled and kissed the back of his hand. he chuckled and did the same to you, putting his hand back on your thigh.
