Henry was searching through the forest for the dragon that was shot down.

For most of the time, he regretted not putting a tracker on the net because it would have been more easier to locate the dragon. The other time he ignored the regret because it would have been crushed anyways.

"The world hates me. Some pilots get their precious guns or progressive knives broken, while I get to lose a stupid dragon!" Henry was muttering to himself.
After an hour of searching in the Stokes forest area with his mecha, Henry decided to search again tomorrow. Only the crunching of metal under his mecha's wheel leg made him stop. When Henry looked down at what he stepped on, he noticed it was part of the net missile's cover plates. Besides it were several blood stains scattered in one direction. This meant that the location where the downed dragon is was near. So, Henry decided to follow the blood stains.
As he got closer, he noticed that some trees have been bent (actually broken) down, with claw marks scratched on their trunks. For some reason, Henry stopped, opened the cockpit hatch of his mecha, and got out. He wanted to take a closer look at his prize face to face. Before doing so, he took out his taser pistol and loaded it. Once he got above the crash site, he saw it.

The legendary dragon, the night fury, trapped in the net.

However, when he took a closer look, Henry noticed that it was covered in.....fur? The fur was brown, not black as night. And the wings were....feathered. They weren't membranous like the other dragons. It looked like it was dead because it wasn't moving or breathing, so Henry calmed down.
"I actually did it. This will fix everything! I have brought down this mighty beast!" Henry said as he placed a foot on the fury's talons. The furred dragon then seemed to come back to life as it swiped aside Henry's leg from it, it's growl making him jump aside. Henry quickly aimed his taser at the dragon as it slowly opened its eyes. Its pupils were narrowed in surprise, and also in fear. It tried to move away from him, but couldn't because of the net entangled all over its legs and wings.
Henry thought this could be a good time to kill it with a knife he brought along. However, when he looked at the dragon's eyes, and how scared it felt, he realized...he was scared too.
'I.....I.....can't kill it.' Henry thought as he lowered his taser, tears streaming down from his eyes. Then he noticed that it was injured: the sharp end of the missile was sticking out from the fury's left back leg. He felt guilty for what he has done, so he decided to help it. The only problem was how was he going to free the dragon if there was a high chance it may attack him.
After a moment of thought, Henry decided to use his mecha to free it.

Amari was scared. She has never felt so scared in her life than in this moment. Her leg was injured with that metal thing sticking out and her right wing was broken.
She felt more scared when she heard something. Something big was coming towards her, footsteps shaking the ground slightly.
This...giant thing...Amari couldn't describe what it was...came into view after the two-legged creature left. Amari tried wriggling from the metal lines entangled on her, even gnawing at them with her sharp teeth to break free. But it was to no avail. Amari was sure she was going to die, with no one to help her or anybody to witness her final moments. At least her mate and children were safe in the hidden world, the one place she wanted to be at right now. The thing that stopped her from struggling was when the giant thing spoke.

["Woah! Woah!! It's ok! It's ok...I'm not gonna hurt you"]. Then it bent down and reached to her with a metal paw. ["It's alright"] it said again. Amari closed her eyes, then felt a drilling noise coming from the metal creature. When Amari opened her eyes, she saw that the paw was cutting the wires off one by one. Was it...actually freeing her? Why was it doing this?

This was her chance to escape! She was anxiously waiting for it to cut the last two remaining wires when it stopped. The metal giant reached for the metal stuck on her leg instead. 'Is it going to pull that thing out?' Amari thought as she whined in pain.
One long moment aaaannnnd...

SHING!!!

'OWWW!!!' Amari roared in pain as the metal got pulled out of her leg in a swift motion. Without wasting more time, she got the wires off of her and jumped, raking her claws against the creature's chest. The metal creature pulled away from her in a quick motion, flinching with a loud grinding noise.
Amari now had her chance to finish it off as she charged a plasma blast in her throat while trying to fly up to get a better shot, yet her broken right wing ached with pain that she never felt and made her go sideways.

Which made her fire the plasma shot at it's feet.

Henry was thrown back with so much force that he hit his head hard on the screen in front of him. It also made his ears ring as the explosion shockwave reached inside the cockpit.

Once the explosion cleared, Henry quickly got his mecha up and looked down to face the furred fury that attacked. However, it had.......disappeared. He looked around for any signs that told where it ran off. But it had vanished into thin air.
When Henry got out to inspect the deep claw marks that the dragon gave his mecha, all he managed to say was:

"Damn, you got some claws..."
